We found the Plumercrest to be a great place to stay in this area. The B&B is charming and clean, the owners friendly and with great advice to offer about sightseeing in the area, and there's a great restaurant a mile away. more
I loved my two-night stay at Plumercrest. The house is lovely and filled with intersting antiques and history. The atmosphere is both welcoming and relaxing - my room had no TV, and I found I enjoyed being forced to be more contemplative in its absence. The breakfast was outstanding, especially the pecan waffles. The price is a bargain, especailly compared to some of the other options in the area. Overall, a great experience.
