We stayed for three nights in the Herb Garden room. We had chosen the smaller room because we were visiting family in the area and knew we'd only be there to sleep. That is pretty much how it worked out, but we wished we had had more time at this lovely inn. The room was perfect for us. The bathroom... More

Shaker Hill B&B is out of town in a nice area, plenty of parking for everyone. Yes, Nancy has cookies out during the day and hot water for tea any time! My kind of place! The location is very close to tons of attractions. Specifically, we enjoyed tasting ciders at Poverty Lane Orchard and driving by Dartmouth! And a short... More

We stayed at Shaker Hill during a driving tour of New England and had only one regret - that we had only booked a one night stay. The Inn is beautifully decorated and we immediately warmed to Joe and Cathy, who were delightful hosts. In summary, comfortable and charming room, friendly people, delicious cookies and perfect breakfast! More

My hubby and I stayed in the Charles Hewes room. Nice room and very clean bathroom. Enjoyed looking at the antique toys downstairs along with the other antiques in the home. Breakfast was really good, baked pears and french toast. Al and Nancy were great host. More

This was a lovely bed and breakfast, Nancy and Al couldn't have been nicer, even giving us scones for a snack during the day. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. A very comfortable and interesting house, we were made to feel like family. The dogs, Ben and Bo were great company and fun. Enfield is a good place... More

I have stayed at other B&B's but never had the pleasant experience that I had with Nancy, Al and their beautiful dog Ben. Coming back to the Inn following minor surgery at Dartmouth, Nancy was there to assist me upstairs and cater to my wants. When I finally was able to eat their amazing breakfast of fresh fruit, warm scones,... More

I could not think of a more comfortable and gracious place to ride out the winter snows of NH! Warm, soft beds, an inviting living room complete with fire and sherry, and a delicious, eye- appealing breakfast awaiting us each morning (warm pear dishes, tantalizing scones, hearty egg treats). The innkeepers, Nancy and Al, were gracious and charming, making great... More

I'm very picky about hotels and B&B's and this one takes the top spot on my list. Great breakfasts, nice rooms, clean, and great owners. I felt like I hadn't left home they make you feel so comfortable. One warning, they do have two high energy dogs. They are sweethearts, but not everyone loves dogs. More
