We've been here a few times and have enjoyed our stays. Nancy is a great hostess and makes you feel at home. She has three Viszlers who are very friendly dogs. The yard is expansive and well planted with abundant bird life ranging from nesting phoebes to a soaring kestrel.

Thanks - it means so much that you enjoy yourselves - and the pups! It was great to see you again. Next time we get the banjo out! More

My husband and I wanted to escape for a couple of days and chose Shaker Hill B&B as our destination. Our room was clean, pleasant and comfortable. The breakfasts are outstanding and Nancy couldn't be lovelier or more accommodating! Lots to do in the area that is enjoyable and very relaxing. Wonderful! Wonderful!! Don't miss it!

We got a recommendation from a local: "This place would be much nicer than a standard motel." She was so right, but that was really an understatement -- we thought staying at Shaker Hill B&B was a highlight of our trip to the USA. The B&B is located in a 200 year old house, so be prepared for a few... More

We were traveling to the area on a spontaneous road trip, calling places to check for availability when we felt like stopping. Nancy was a gracious hostess who welcomed us on short notice. The inn itself is a beautiful old farmhouse, which has been tastefully decorated with countless antiques. She was ready with helpful suggestions for dinner, as well as... More

We have stayed at the Shaker Hill B & B at least one or twice a year for 10 years or so. The rooms are great and the owner, Nancy, is a tremendous host. SHe takes great pains to offer the best possible visit to the area. She is very knowledgeable about the area. Her breakfasts are the standard that... More

I'm giving 5 stars as this place really, really deserves it. My bike trip friend and I either require two separate rooms or twin beds. They did us one up! We got an amazing suite with a luxury king and a full bed in the same huge tastefully decorated room. The bedding was to die for, top quality. The B&B... More

This was our first bed and breakfast experience. We were not disappointed. Nancy made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was beautifully decorated with a wonderful four-poster bed and antiques. Once we were settled in, we went out to dinner at a nice restaurant recommended by Nancy. When we returned, we were greeted... More

We received a warm welcome from Nancy not forgetting the four lovely dogs! The directions were spot on and we found the place easily. We had a spacious room upstairs with two easy chairs which is more room than you often get. The gardens outside provide a lovely back drop to this place. Nancy provided us with a range of... More

We stayed overnight recently at the end of a bike ride on the Northern Rail Trail. When we arrived a couple hours later than expected, Nancy told us she was contemplating coming to get us, since she knew we were on bikes and it had started raining. Additionally, she gave us a ride into town for dinner. The property was... More

A serendipitous delight, cozy and welcoming, graced by the inn keeper Nanci, her engaging daughters, and 4 friendly Viszla dogs. The setting, the hosts and the gourmet breakfasts, the well appointed lodging replete with antiques made us feel very at home, which is what a B&B should.do and preferred to a hotel which at any rate were booked for the...
