This inn has great views and comfy rooms and it's right off the kancamagus highway. We had a gas fireplace in the room which was nice and the view of the presidential mountain range from our window was good. The breakfast was tasty we had pancakes one morning they were great. I would recommend this inn to anyone who wants... More

The Darby Field Inn is located on a hillside that affords an incredible view of the Presidential Mountain Range. Combine that with very helpful and friendly staff, a dedicated and caring innkeeper and delicious breakfasts and you have great lodgings.

My boyfriend and I came here for our first long weekend away together. It couldn't have been a better experience. The staff was extremely friendly, the place itself was beautiful, and the food was amazing. We stayed in Tess's room and the views of the mountains were breathtaking. We had a fireplace in the room and a little sitting area.... More

My husband & I stayed here February 2013 through a Living Social deal, so when the deal was offered again, we jumped right on it. We stayed in Room 11, Tess' room, which is one of two rooms on the third level. The room was small, but comfortable, clean & had a nice view. The bathroom was clean and manageable... More

We stayed here at the end of nov and was very nice. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed and the inn itself had a very cozy homey feel to it. The restaurant was nice but a little bit pricey. Overall a very good inn that I would recommend to others looking to escape for a night or two.

We returned to Darby Field for New Years Eve this year, and again we were delighted. The accommodations are cozy, clean, and comfortable. The food is delicious. The new chef is a keeper, Marc. And Marc, as always, was gracious and helpful. The staff very quickly become friends here. Whether at the front desk, in the dining room, in the... More

I took my wife here for her 25th birthday in between Christmas and New Years. It was a magnificent experience. The staff was wonderful and the room was great (we stayed in the Mt. Washington room.) The food at the restaurant was excellent and the wait staff was lively and in tune with what we wanted. We had a great... More

We have stayed at the Darby before but never in the winter. We stayed over New Years and we went snowshoeing right out the back door. Carol made me the best Hot Chocolate with whipped cream. We had a great view of the mountains and they had a great fire in the fire place. There was a New Years Eve... More

My wife and I were married here on October 19, 2013 and it was all about "US"!! It was so beautiful and peaceful. Marc, Carol and the staff made it even more memorable with their friendly service. I highly recommend breaking away from the norm and venture to The Darby to celebrate your love! Let the wilderness be your church!

I don't know where to begin. The Inn building itself is amazing; the plot of land on which it is located had some of the most gorgeous examples of fall foliage we saw during our ten days in New England. The room on the 3rd floor overlooked the trees with orange and yellow leaves and the mountains in the distance.... More
