My daughter and I stayed for one night on our way through the White Mountains. Clean room with free wifi and casual breakfast. I was very happy to refresh in the pool after a hot day of driving and the bbq pits are a nice touch. There is quite a bit of road noise from transport trucks but we could... More

What a lovely "Mom and Pop" motel experience. Right on the Saco River next to where you can put in to to amble down the river on a hot summer day. Wonderfully clean, professional staff, adequate breakfast sitting outside in sunshine, clean pool. Makes you feel like you're in New Hampshire rather than in just any old place in one... More

Went to this place after reading the reviews. It really was a lovely place to stay. Very clean. Staff very helpful. Would revisit if ever in the area again. Although close to the road the sound was not bad. The colourful chairs around the fire pits really looked nice. Everywhere is very well kept. Keep up the good work.

This motel is a pretty good place to stay if you aren't looking for anything too fancy or modern. Pros: Staff are friendly, rooms are clean, wifi works, there is a pool, and nice picnic area with BBQ pits and so on. It is a short drive from North Conway where all the outlet stores are, which is nice. Although... More

We were not expecting much--just a basic no-frills motel--and were pleasantly surprised. The room is small, but for one night, we did not care. It was VERY clean, and the owner/staff could not have been friendlier. Even the breakfast exceeded expectations. The only negative was the thin walls (could hear snoring in adjacent room). Despite that, we would return.

Nothing special about this motel, but nothing to complain about. Older building that looks like it has had some recent renovations. We booked 2 rooms, one smelled of overuse of febreeze. We could clearly hear conversations in next room, but luckily had very quiet neighbors. Friendly check in, free wifi, free breakfast in the lobby, which didn't really get off... More

.This comes a little late but I was just looking at pictures from this past July 2013-when a group of about 30 of us stayed here at the lodge and i just wanted to say that it was a wonderful weekend-we canoed for hours, we cooked out on the grounds here- we had a bit of a "reunion"of sorts- the... While there is nothing special or particularly outstanding about this motel itself, I did find the staff to be very friendly and helpful. This is an older property and areas of my room particularly the bathroom showed it although I could see that some effort has been made to “spruce up” the place. My room was somewhat comfortable although cramped.... More

We stopped there by chance in August. The place is nice, it is well-kept and family-run and you very much get more than what you pay for. We liked all the extras (proper breakfast, real pool and large picnic area with the possibility to use BBQs) and the nice exteriors. Although the rooms are fairly basic, they are clean and... More

We stayed here for one evening on the conclusion of our foilage tour through Vermont and New Hampshire. As previously noted from other reviews, this roadside motel is dated; however, we like charm and quaintness which often accompanies seasoned lodgings. Our room was very clean though the amount of furniture in the room made it seem a bit cramped at... More
