We were not expecting much--just a basic no-frills motel--and were pleasantly surprised. The room is small, but for one night, we did not care. It was VERY clean, and the owner/staff could not have been friendlier. Even the breakfast exceeded expectations. The only negative was the thin walls (could hear snoring in adjacent room). Despite that, we would return.

Nothing special about this motel, but nothing to complain about. Older building that looks like it has had some recent renovations. We booked 2 rooms, one smelled of overuse of febreeze. We could clearly hear conversations in next room, but luckily had very quiet neighbors. Friendly check in, free wifi, free breakfast in the lobby, which didn't really get off... More

.This comes a little late but I was just looking at pictures from this past July 2013-when a group of about 30 of us stayed here at the lodge and i just wanted to say that it was a wonderful weekend-we canoed for hours, we cooked out on the grounds here- we had a bit of a "reunion"of sorts- the... While there is nothing special or particularly outstanding about this motel itself, I did find the staff to be very friendly and helpful. This is an older property and areas of my room particularly the bathroom showed it although I could see that some effort has been made to “spruce up” the place. My room was somewhat comfortable although cramped.... More

We stopped there by chance in August. The place is nice, it is well-kept and family-run and you very much get more than what you pay for. We liked all the extras (proper breakfast, real pool and large picnic area with the possibility to use BBQs) and the nice exteriors. Although the rooms are fairly basic, they are clean and... More

We stayed here for one evening on the conclusion of our foilage tour through Vermont and New Hampshire. As previously noted from other reviews, this roadside motel is dated; however, we like charm and quaintness which often accompanies seasoned lodgings. Our room was very clean though the amount of furniture in the room made it seem a bit cramped at... More

This is a dated roadside motel charging hotel prices. We paid over $206 a night. Don't make the same mistake we did. Stay at the motels and hotels in North Conway instead. It's only 15 minutes away. You'll be able to choose from Marriott Residence Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn and many others. Loud truck noises from the highway... More

This is an old building, but well kept. A bit out of town, but only a few miles from major eateries. We were in room #2 and found the water took a long time to heat up. Road noise could be a problem for light sleepers, though it wasn't that bad. They have a 10 AM checkout which might be... More

Overall, We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is better than I expected. The rooms are cozy. The price is reasonable. We will definitely going back. There are few minor things: The electrical stove is not powerful enough, it takes forever to boil the water . most windows and deck have no screens doors. We can not open the windows to... More
