The Common Man In Claremont is a spotless Inn which is in a converted mill situated, of course, on a lovely river in Claremont, NH. We not only stayed in the Inn but also ate dinner at their restaurant next door as part of a package deal. The inn is clean, the staff is friendly, and a slight glitch in... More

We stayed at the Common Man Inn in Claremont on Saturday July 12-Sunday July 13. The Inn is an old restored brick factory building. Very, VERY charming and tastefully done. There is a river and waterfalls on one side of the Inn. Rooms are clean, some small, some larger....we stayed in a small room and it was fine for one... More

But no pictures of the outside. So we'd NO idea it was a doublewide. BE careful of the other properties offered. We thought it was funny, but it was a special birthday so I was a bit aghast. Ah, well, I suggest you ASK if it is the doublewide before you take any of their 3 offers. It is very... More

We called for a late minute stay and need a pet family room. We were given a large king room with a pet bed, bowls for food and water, a treat bone, and pooper bags for our little guy. The staff of this hotel are friendly and helpful. This is our 5th time staying at this location. You pay more... More

My husband and I have stayed at Common Man Inn several times and will be returning again this year. I love how cozy and homey it is and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The included breakfast is always delicious and they make their own sweet breads. We usually eat several nights at... More

Claremont, New Hampshire is a small New England town with many charmingly restored factory buildings made of brick. There are two waterfalls close to the building, which is now a hotel, and which used to be a source of energy to the factory but is now a part of the charm. The falls are close to the outside part of... More

Stayed 6/18. Bottom Line: Excellent hotel but parking is big issue. Located near downtown area, the hotel is in a nicely restored woolen mill building. Other businesses occupy the upper floors of the building. A good restaurant owned by the hotel sits on the property in a separate building. Biggest problem is parking. Only 6 spaces available near the hotel.... More

Stayed here last year and had a very good experience. This year not as much. Desk help not very helpful. Would not take our letter to mail, we had to walk down the street to a mail box, even though they mention in their brochure that they will take care of your mail. Did not have any info about their... I would definitely stay here again, but I would ask for any room except the one that backs up to the elevator. Everything was exceptionally positive except for this. The elevator is quite noisy but luckily they didn't use it during the night. Late evening and early morning only. I'm sure any other room would not have heard it. Otherwise,... More

My family and I love this place. I first stayed for an offsite management meeting and now I have gone back several times to stay with my family. We stay here when we ski at nearby Sunapee. We stay in one of the 2 level rooms with a great view over the River, my kids call it the rock room... More
