Our family of three stayed at the Henry Whipple House for a week while vacationing with other family members in the area. The pictures of the immaculate rooms, delicious breakfasts and smiling guests are all accurate. The only thing missing besides the homemade cookies that greeted us every evening is a picture of Sandra, our hostess who engaged us with... More

My stay at the Henry Whipple House was the highlight of my trip to Bristol. The house was beautiful and well decorated and my room was clean and comfy. After a peaceful sleep, the owner cooked us all a gourmet breakfast. Sandra was an excellent hostess and so was her little black kitty!

We were guests at the Henry Whipple House for my wife's birthday on July 25. Not much we can say other than near perfection. A beautiful historic structure-so tastefully and painstakingly done - inside & out. Super clean, comfortable, great cooking. Sandra is a fine hostess and remarkable person. We highly recommend that you visit. George & Carol Epsom, NH

We were dropping our son off at sleep away camp and decided to stay at the Henry Whipple House based on a recommendation from friends. We were very glad we did! We met Sandra and Clay as soon as we parked the car. They were very hospitable and inviting. The breakfasts that Sandra made were outstanding. The room was perfect.... More

This was by far the best B&B or Inn that my wife and I can remember staying in. Sandra is the perfect hostess. Stayed in "The Guest Room" on second floor. Room is large, bed comfortable and had a window air conditioner (necessary for our hot & humid weather visit. Sandra told us most of the bedding and window treatments... More

Sandra is very friendly and helpful without being pushy or intrusive. We had a choice of breakfast entres and everything was delicious. If you enjoy staying in historic homes, they have done an exceptional job of making everything feel historic while still providing for modern expectations. We would definitely stay there again!

We were so pleased with the privacy of the Carriage House Suite. It was a delightful stay in a cozy, charming and very clean suite of rooms. Sandra was very friendly and welcoming! We were so comfortable and happy, that we spent an extra night! Excellent place to stay.

We always try to stay at historic B & Bs and this one is one of favorites. Our room was well appointed and spotless with lovely bedding, soft sheets, and period antiques. In addition there was a flat screen TV and air conditioning. Breakfast was wonderful. The dining room is beautifully set with hot drinks, juice and freshly baked scones... More

We have family nearby and feel so lucky to have discovered this gem. Sandra is the warmest of warm hosts and the room was quiet, comfortable, elegant, charming and very well appointed. There small touches were indicative of the amount of care and taste that goes into running The Henry Whipple House. AND the breakfast were outstanding. We will return!

My 7 year old son and I just come back from three nights at The Henry Whipple House, which we used as a base to ski at Ragged Mountain (20 min away). Breakfast was delicious, room was clean and nicely decorated, the hostess was absolutely marvelous. We really enjoyed our stay.
