We recently stayed at The Henry Whipple House so we could ski at Ragged Mountain and they are the closest property, plus we read all the great reviews. Everything everyone has said is true and the ski and stay package was really affordable. We'll be back. More

We were visiting family in the Newfound Lake area for Christmas and decided to stay at the Whipple House. It’s not often you get to experience a beautifully restored historic property for a reasonable price and so beautifully decorated for the holidays. Breakfasts were delicious and created with thought and care – we especially liked having two choices each day.... More

My older brother and I started an 8-day bicycle tour in September 2011 with our first night at the HWH. The room was spacious, the bed comfy and Sandra's breakfast was excellent. This may have been our most costly B&B, but we unanimously concluded that the Henry Whipple House was the BEST value. We felt very secure with our bicycles... More

This was our second stay at the Henry Whipple House and once again my husband and I had a wonderful time. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Sandra our host, warmly welcomed us back and led us to our room which was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Entering the Henry Whipple house is like taking a step... More

We stay at the Henry Whipple House as many times a year as possible, Sandra and Clay are the most wonderful people. The house is warm and inviting and makes you feel as if you were home. The Henry Whipple House is so clean and well kept that I think they should be #1 Bed and Breakfast stays. The food... More

Our stay at the Henry Whipple house was homey and very comfortable. Sandra was a perfect host and cooked us a marvelous breakfast. We stayed in Henry's room. The room was good size and bed was very comfortable. There was an adjoining full bath. The house was beautifully decorated for the upcoming holidays. We enjoyed ourselves immensely for the very... We just returned from a lovely Thanksgiving holiday at the Henry Whipple House. The house is very quaint with wood floors and lovely antiques. It is decorated very tasefully too. It has a nice warm and homey feel to the place. We stayed in the Guest Room and our room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable.... More

Staying at the Henry Whipple House was akin to being warmly embraced by dear friends. The lovely accommodations are made even more special by Sandra and Clay's warmth and hospitality. From the moment that we arrived to our reluctant departure, we were surrounded by comfortable and pretty furnishings, yummy and memorable breakfasts and a sense that we were spending time... More

We stayed two nights and found our host Sandra to be not only warm and friendly but also very knowledgeable about area hiking trails. She is an excellent chef, offering delicious scones as an appetizer to breakfast as well as a choice of two entrees each morning. Our room was charmingly decorated with period décor. We definitely would return should... More
