What a lovely place. We were delighted to happen upon this classic, old time New England Inn. To its decor, extensive porch; festooned with flowering hanging planters while overlooking the lake, and it's classic decor interior to the period rooms. It was quintessential in charm. But all that aside, the rooms although smallish, were tasteful, clean and charming as well... More

We booked here for 2 nights during the peak leaf season and I am so glad we did. We stayed in one of the lake-view rooms with private bath across the hall- not a problem. Comfortable queen size bed. The only disadvantage I can see is no air conditioning. I don't think fans alone would be enough for me in... More

Stayed two nights in August, attending a wedding held at the Inn. We were a big group occupying the entire annex of the Hotel and many rooms of the main hotel. The rooms in the annex are very small, bathrooms extremely small but all kept very neat and clean. Rooms, despite being small, were very quaint. Many relaxing spaces outside... More

Having grown up going to the Inn on Newfound Lake for dinner with my family, I knew it would be the perfect place to have my wedding. I love the rustic charm of the inn and the renovated barn and the view of the lake makes for such a perfect backdrop for a NH wedding! I have to give a... More

I went here with my daughter and it was awful. When we walked in the lobby there was not one person in the lobby or one person working behind the dest. We called them and after a few calls of them NOT answering someone finally picked up. He said he was in the back and would come up. After about... More

Our family has been coming to Newfound Lake multiple times each year for the past 15 years. We quite frequently eat dinner at the Inn and have enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the views. However, we have never had to ask for the chef to accommodate special dietary restrictions and have always been able to order off of the... More

Attended a wedding at the venue and stayed the night. The front desk staff was rude and curt, the floors in the main building were dangerously slanted, you could hear everything in your neighbors room, and the bugs were rampant around the building. The food was horrible, overlooked chicken and gummy potatoes. Absolutely don't recommend for a wedding location! The... More

The sign on the front of the building directs guests to the back - not a good option. After we got over the initial surprise (definitely several barking dogs) we were warmly greeted, checked in and pointed towards are room. We were in the Annex - the rooms were small but relatively recently updated, nicely decorated and very clean (except... More

The Inn is obviously very old, yet very grand! Located across the street from the cleanest and most beautiful lake in New Hampshire! We chose a lake view room on the second floor (#11) our private bathroom was just steps across the hall. The room was a bit small but very accommodating, although we wished there were two chairs in... More
