Bretton Arms Inn is a charming comfortable b&b. one of the best yet - we had a very comfortable and clean king sized bedroom with a couch- breakfast was out of this world 3 egg omelet with fresh veggies - granola and yogurt- everthing was fresh and made with quality. A shutlle brought us everywhere on the resort- Including Bretton... more

Putting aside the omnipresent building and landscaping works going on everywhere (due to be finished by Dec. 08), I'd rate our stay as "OK-to-fine". We loved the setting and general superficial feel of the place, but our overall impression dropped a notch or two when you looked a bit closer. Positives: - Access to all main hotel facilities (pool, gym,... more

Within the past 5 years, I've been to two weddings at the Mount Washington Resort. The first time, we stayed at the hotel itself; the second time, we stayed at the Bretton Arms. I preferred the Bretton Arms. While it is admittedly less grand than the Mount Washington and doesn't have the same sweeping views, our room at the Bretton... more

We found a great deal for a weekend in January at the Bretton Arms. We love skiing at Bretton Woods and have stayed at the Mt. Washington Resort before. We brought our two boys ages 9 and 7 and met up with two other families with children for a ski weekend away. The room was quite large with an enormous... more

My boyfriend and I experienced much of what the resort property had to offer. This review comments on the following: *The room *A few of the resort's restaurants *The Mt. Washington Hotel swimming pool *Dog Sledding and Sleigh Ride activities booked through hotel The room (number 12, first floor): I'm not one who likes to spend a lot of money... more

Part of the Mount Washington resort, this is a good choice if you want to stay in the very touristy White Mountains. It's more personal than the famous Mount Washington Hotel but you can still use all the facilities of the bigger sister (and going to the Mount Washington for a poncy diner is an entertaining way to revive memories... more

This is a lovely property, offering a much better and less expensive alternative to staying next door at the Mount Washington Hotel. Our room (#47) was pleasant if small, but be warned that the air conditioning (one small window unit) is inadequate on a hot summer day. I suspect this may be true of other rooms as well. The inn's... more

This hotel is in the grounds of the main resort and is fab. All the staff were amazing and helpful, and dining is outstanding (menu better than the main hotel). The room was superb - plenty of room, clean and well furnished, and there are only 30 so its very intimate. You get full use of main resort facilities too,... more

Stayed at the Bretton Arms in February 2003. There had just been a heavy snowfall, and the scene was postcard-perfect--pristine snow crunching underfoot, utter quiet during most of the day, blue skies with just a wreath of clouds over Mount Washington. The location can't be beat, both for scenery and easy access to nearby Bretton Woods ski resort. The inn... more
