My daughter and I have stayed in this lovely inn for many years, so I'm pleased to provide a "must be experienced" recommendation. This historic inn, in the heart of the Lake Sunapee region, was completely renovated when Lesley and Dick (innkeepers) purchased it many years ago. The suites are lovingly appointed with beautiful beds, gas fireplaces (especially nice after... More

My husband and I spent two nights at Rosewood country Inn this past August. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and the breakfasts are huge and delicious. We were upstairs in room 11 - huge with two twin-size window seats by the windows overlooking the back gardens. My complaint about all B & Bs, including this one, are the... More

We had a Living Social voucher for the Inn and spend two relaxing enjoyable nights there. We were greeted by Leslie, the owner, who is a one woman dynamo and wears many hats at the Inn. She showed us to our room, a beautiful suite, nicely decorated and very comfortable. A tray of hor dourves were waiting for us along... More

Three of us stayed at The Rosewood and we visited the World Quilt Show in Manchester, I used to think that I was more interested in the Quilt show but I LOVE STAYING at the Inn, It is so wonderful just sitting on the deck and looking at the Mountains and in one of the trees just out side the... We spent last weekend at Rosewood, and it's one of the best of the many B&B/inns we've stayed at. So many pluses to note: fine location away from everything but with easy access to Lake Sunapee and others, lovely setting on rolling lawns with flower gardens and pond, excellent and imaginative breakfasts, very well decorated and comfortable rooms (we were... We loved the inn, the setting and location. Also appreciated the fact coffee, snacks, soda and bottled water available 24/7. Breakfasts were excellent and had the best muffins I ever had! The only imperfection was in the bathroom. The mirror over the sink was quite low which made it very difficult shaving so for anyone over 6' tall it's a... More

Took advantage of a travelzoo offer that was amazing value since it allowed the booking to be made over memorial weekend which other deals did not. Guided by the sat nav, we found the inn with no trouble and it is an amazing, quiet location. The weather was kind to us and we explored the area over the two days... More

"Can you tell me where my country lies?" Cried the unifaun to his true love's eyes "It lies with me", cried the Queen of Maybe For her merchandise, he traded in his prize" Along the (NH) forest road lies an Inn that tells no lies. If you are looking for an escape from either this cruel techno driven world or... More

This is a very nice and relaxing inn. Breakfast was home made. Each day we had fresh baked muffins which we could smell baking as soon as you came out of our room. The owner is very nice and made us feel very welcome. The attention to detail here was great. Our room was made up while at breakfast. Upon... More

I needed a getaway. This was our first bed n breakfast experience. It was truly unforgettable. The owner is a person of detail and it shows. Breakfast was gourmet. I loved everything about it. It was worth the drive from NYC. I would go back in a heartbeat. A beautiful house with a full dining room with seperate seating. We... More
