We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving respite at the Rosewood Country Inn for their four-day package plan and were thrilled. We arrived on Wednesday, settling in with great accommodations and good dining advice from Lesley. Thursday, we had a fantastic Turkey dinner at the Millstone Restaurant and a casual country ride enjoying the scenery afterwards. Friday was spent with great Christmas... more

Dick and Lesley and wonderful innkeepers. As I had been here 2x previous for a romantic weekend, I decided to book an weekend getaway with the girls. I was not disappointed. As always, every need was met and more. As a special event meals were served in the dining room and were absolutely delicious. Much thought and creativity was put... more

We have been to New England for a "Fall getaway" weekend for nearly ten years now. Our B&Bs have ranged from Marthas Vinyeard (The Outter Most Inn) to quaint but charming (ie. cheaper and smaller) inns along the coast of Maine to the Great White Mountain area. We have enjoyed every single one except The Rosewood Inn in Bradford, NH.... more

The inn is darling and the innkeepers are accomodating. Everything is immaculate and all the amenities are what you would expect for $300 a night. However, our bed in teh Thomas Jefferson suite was worn out. The mattress was hard, dipped in the middle and it creaked and squeaked every time we rolled over -- pretty to the eyes, but... more

We've just returned from our first visit to Rosewood Country Inn. It won't be our last. The inn was picture-perfect beautiful and full of thoughtful, decorative details, personalizing and individualizing each space. Our top-floor room had very interesting angles, a fireplace, and a wonderful window seat from which we could read while viewing the brightly-colored fall foliage outside or listen... more

I stayed here for 4 nights in August and am so happy that I did. The place is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are beautiful & spotless. From our room we could see the gardens. The service is wonderful. The breakfast each morning was out of this world. The food is amazing! The inn is very quiet. A nice place to... more

We spent two wonderful days and nights at the Rosewood Inn for New England College's Parents Weekend. Wonderful serene woodsy setting; casually elegant; great breakfast; and the promise of cross-country skiing and moon-lit snowshoieng on future trips. I even caught and released a small bass in their pond. more

I have been visiting the Rosewood at least once a year for about 20 years now. My stay has consisitently been a very pleasant experience. The decor is beautiful, the candlelight breakfasts get the day started on a bright note regardless of what the weather holds, and the Dick and Leslie are the quintessential New England hosts. I have and... more
