We stayed at the Adair recently for a 2 night stay. The Inn keepers Barry and Kimberly were extremely welcoming and hospitable as were the rest of the staff. They were very helpful on places to go and activities including assisting with suitable hikes. The food was excellent for dinner and breakfast. A wonderful property - well worth a visit.

Our one night stay at Adair was as nearly flawless as a visit to any inn could possibly be. The place is absolutely beautiful, the hospitality gracious, and our room was elegant yet oh so comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful. We highly recommend Adair Country Inn and Restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Adiar, hosted buy the 'Hunters' and their team. The property has a history, and this is capitalised on through the decoration, the grounds and the warm friendly welcome. Welcome was good on arrival, with tea/coffee and scows bang available in the afternoon, and a gourmet breakfast, with some very nice touches to... More

The Adair is a treasure in the White Mountains preserving history and refinement. The 4 days my husband and I spent there were sensational by all means. The estate spreads over 200 acres. We felt like we escaped into the clouds to a very special invitation. The Inn itself is lovely and spacious, decorated with style and not overdone. Our room... More

If your looking to decompress in a comfortable quiet bucolic setting this is the place to go. The warmth of the inn keepers and guests is just enough socializing. The gourmet food is the frosting on the cake. Relax and enjoy.

My husband and I spent a very lovely weekend at the Adair Country Inn recently. Although we booked the Cabot Room (which is very pretty) we were upgraded to the Dalton Room. The king sized bed with down bedding was wonderful as were the views from our windows. We ate in the dining room both nights and the meals could... More

We've stayed at many small inns and B&Bs over the years and our stay at Adair has been one of our best. We were looking for a restful 3 day stay after a hectic week of touring and a prep school reunion and Adair fit the bill perfectly. It is nicely situated on an expansive and peaceful wooded lot, yet... More

We had the pleasure of staying with Kimberly and Barry more times than I can count over the past year as our son was in school around the corner. Simply put, exquisite experiences and outstanding memories. From sub zero temps and 'feet' of snow to fall foliage and spring splendor. You can't go wrong any time of the year. Peaceful... More

Adfair is a nice quiet country inn. There's 200 acres to explore with trails, if you wish & you're never far from the mountains. There's abundant flowers & wildlife in the area. Bird watching is really popular here. Rooms are generous in size up to full suites. Bathrooms are great. Nice white tile & great fixtures. My only thing I'd do,... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Adair Country Inn and Restaurant is a romantic retreat nestled on 200 acres of private property in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. With nine charming and comfortably appointed rooms, you'll want to cuddle up in our feather beds with the fireplace on. In the morning, you'll wake up to the smell of popovers that are baked fresh daily and served with our three course gourmet breakfast. Venture out on one of the many trails of Adair where you may see moose, black bear, or even some wild turkeys. Take up a rousing game of tennis or a fierce shuffleboard competition in the afternoon. Enjoy some tea on the patio overlooking the spectacular grounds designed by the Olmsted Brothers. In the evening, join us in the bar for a cocktail before dining at our highly acclaimed restaurant. After dinner, take up a friendly game of pool in our Granite Room on our circa 1920 pool table, before retiring to your room where you'll feel as though you're sleeping on a cloud. Come home to Adair and fall in love again. ... more   less
