My husband and I had dinner there on August 28, 2014. We met Barry and Kimberley, the innkeepers, who made us feel very welcomed. Dinner was fabulous....crab cakes, shrimp, salmon, beef...all of it prepared wonderfully. The dining room was intimate, and we enjoyed chatting with some of the other guests. The grounds were lovely to walk around. I could only... More

We just came home from a 4 week vacation in New England and the best stay we had was definitely the Adair. We felt like VIP's and we enjoyed everything about the stay. But the breakfast made by Barry was excellent. We still talks about our stay at this Inn. Would we recommend this? YES!!! Thank you Barry and Kimberley... More

This mansion from 1927 sits on extensive grounds - beautiful lawns and woods with walking trails. The innkeepers, Barry and Kimberley, are both charming, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Our room (Lincoln), one of nine, was spacious, and well equipped with amenities. The restaurant has a good chef and we had a most pleasant... More

My wife and I were blown away by the Adair during our weekend stay. The estate, gardens and grounds are fabulously maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff is cheerful and friendly. This was our first time at a B&B, and I breathed a sigh of relief as we turned off the main road onto a storybook driveway that... More

We stayed at the Adair recently for a 2 night stay. The Inn keepers Barry and Kimberly were extremely welcoming and hospitable as were the rest of the staff. They were very helpful on places to go and activities including assisting with suitable hikes. The food was excellent for dinner and breakfast. A wonderful property - well worth a visit.

Our one night stay at Adair was as nearly flawless as a visit to any inn could possibly be. The place is absolutely beautiful, the hospitality gracious, and our room was elegant yet oh so comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful. We highly recommend Adair Country Inn and Restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Adiar, hosted buy the 'Hunters' and their team. The property has a history, and this is capitalised on through the decoration, the grounds and the warm friendly welcome. Welcome was good on arrival, with tea/coffee and scows bang available in the afternoon, and a gourmet breakfast, with some very nice touches to... More

The Adair is a treasure in the White Mountains preserving history and refinement. The 4 days my husband and I spent there were sensational by all means. The estate spreads over 200 acres. We felt like we escaped into the clouds to a very special invitation. The Inn itself is lovely and spacious, decorated with style and not overdone. Our room... More

If your looking to decompress in a comfortable quiet bucolic setting this is the place to go. The warmth of the inn keepers and guests is just enough socializing. The gourmet food is the frosting on the cake. Relax and enjoy.

The Adair Country Inn and Restaurant is a romantic retreat nestled on 200 acres of private property in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. With nine charming and comfortably appointed rooms, you'll want to cuddle up in our feather beds with the fireplace on. In the morning, you'll wake up to the smell of popovers that are baked fresh daily and served with our three course gourmet breakfast. Venture out on one of the many trails of Adair where you may see moose, black bear, or even some wild turkeys. Take up a rousing game of tennis or a fierce shuffleboard competition in the afternoon. Enjoy some tea on the patio overlooking the spectacular grounds designed by the Olmsted Brothers. In the evening, join us in the bar for a cocktail before dining at our highly acclaimed restaurant. After dinner, take up a friendly game of pool in our Granite Room on our circa 1920 pool table, before retiring to your room where you'll feel as though you're sleeping on a cloud.
