We wanted something special to celebrate my 65th birthday and boy did we get it! This inn couldn't have been more perfect. The physical setting is spectacular, the inn itself is steeped in history and yet it feels current and historic all at the same time. Our room was lovely - we were greeted by peaceful music, the bed had... More

We chanced upon this beautiful country inn after telephoning several places to stay for the night whilst holidaying in New England. One we thought we loved the look of was full & recommended Adair & we're extremely glad they did! This is a picture-postcard inn nestling in the white mountains but what makes it so special is the welcome guests... More

Not only is the Adair Country Inn beautiful, and invitingly comfortable, it's history from the 1920's, reads like a novel! The innkeepers, Barry and Kimberly, are there for their guests every moment, but are not hovering or cloying. The three course breakfasts every morning are spectacular! There is a lovely little bar and elegant dining room with an impressive wine... More

My husband and I had dinner there on August 28, 2014. We met Barry and Kimberley, the innkeepers, who made us feel very welcomed. Dinner was fabulous....crab cakes, shrimp, salmon, beef...all of it prepared wonderfully. The dining room was intimate, and we enjoyed chatting with some of the other guests. The grounds were lovely to walk around. I could only... More

We just came home from a 4 week vacation in New England and the best stay we had was definitely the Adair. We felt like VIP's and we enjoyed everything about the stay. But the breakfast made by Barry was excellent. We still talks about our stay at this Inn. Would we recommend this? YES!!! Thank you Barry and Kimberley... More

This mansion from 1927 sits on extensive grounds - beautiful lawns and woods with walking trails. The innkeepers, Barry and Kimberley, are both charming, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Our room (Lincoln), one of nine, was spacious, and well equipped with amenities. The restaurant has a good chef and we had a most pleasant... More

My wife and I were blown away by the Adair during our weekend stay. The estate, gardens and grounds are fabulously maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff is cheerful and friendly. This was our first time at a B&B, and I breathed a sigh of relief as we turned off the main road onto a storybook driveway that... More

We stayed at the Adair recently for a 2 night stay. The Inn keepers Barry and Kimberly were extremely welcoming and hospitable as were the rest of the staff. They were very helpful on places to go and activities including assisting with suitable hikes. The food was excellent for dinner and breakfast. A wonderful property - well worth a visit.
