We heard this lesbian-themed B & B was a "lesbian paradise." Actually, it's an old farmhouse with too few renovations over the years. We got a room with a supposedly "queen size" (actually a full) mattress and a two-person jacuzzi. That jacuzzi, and the two others on the property were nice. So was the breakfast and the staff person who... More

This place needs lots of help. It was run down and tired inside. The place was also very cluttered and unorganized. Hosts were not very warm and we felt like intruders the whole time there. The entertainment was horrible!!!! It was some wary old street musician that thought trying to sing like Joni Mitchell off key with a zither was... More

I really have to wonder how much traveling these other women have done if they think this place is a paradise! It's no wonder all the gay boys are quick to say lesbians have no style or taste. For close to $200.00 a night off season you'd think they'd pull out all the stops....Not so.This place reminded me of a... More

My partner and I were married at the Highlands Inn on September 24, 2011. This hideaway in the New Hampshire woods at the edge of the White Mountains is a truly special place. The land is quiet, well-kept, and steeped in all the magic that only a New England town on the edge of a mountain range can bring. The... More

Every year we go to the Highlands Inn for some part of the Thanksgiving holiday. The friendliness and warmth of this lesbian inn is legendary, from the turkey dinner to the Friday leftovers to the delicious and leisurely breakfasts and wonderful company - a favorite place to stay. More

We had our wedding and honeymoon at the inn and it was beyond perfect! The inn is beautiful and relaxing. Our room was very nice. We stayed in the main inn and our room was a queen with fireplace. The bed was very comfortable and the furnishings were lovely. The shower was small, but I know they have rooms with... More

My partner and I went on a weekend trip for the leaf peeping and just to enjoy a peaceful colorful countryside. Wish I could have spent more time. The Inn is very friendly. We stayed in the farm house since we had our 2 Corgies with us. There were other couples with dogs in two other rooms but it all... More

Our three days at the Highlands Inn were wonderful! My partner and I were blown away by the incredible natural beauty of the area. Franconia Notch State Park is only 10 minutes away, and even non-athletes will find plenty of walks with gorgeous views that are easy to access. We especially loved the Flume and the Basin, as well as... More

My partner and I just spent one of the best weekends ever together. Highlands Inn is a beautiful old house that has been well maintained with gorgeous wood floors and exposed interior beams. The antique wood furniture is beyond beautiful. The owner, Grace, is the most gracious hostess and has anticipated every need and desire of her female clientele. The... More
