Located in a beautiful natural hilltop setting, with vast and beautiful views, the Inn is near innumerable attractions of the White Mountains. Opportunities for biking, kayaking, zip-lining, et al, abound. We needed a restorative get-away, spent time on the gentle hiking trails, reveled in the cosy spaces as well as the open spaces- including a vast library, games, and shelves... More

We had a great stay at the inn. Stayed in October 2014 and the trees were beautiful. The innkeepers are very welcoming. The inn itself is cozy and you feel right at home. We will definitely go back. Great place!!!

From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were being welcomed back home. You can tell the new owners, Jenny and Gia, love what they do and they have upped the ante - if that is even possible. The place looks new and fresh as if it just had a grand spring cleaning and yet, it retains the warmth... More

Just leaving a terrific visit at The Highlands Inn. We were last here ten years ago--and it is even more beautiful than we remembered. Friendliest innkeepers, beautiful rooms, gorgeous setting. Carrie Ashton played House concert Saturday night. Great local restaurants. The hiking in the area can't be beat. But even if you never leave property it's a terrific experience.

We've gone to the Highlands Inn for many years. But since Grace sold, had not returned until last week. Am I glad we did! The place is still magic, the owners are terrific. Do yourself a favor and GO!

My wife and I stayed at The Highlands Inn this past weekend for our first time. The moment I walked in the door I instantly felt at home. The inn is just as amazing as the owners! This B & B is located within minutes of I93 in northern NH, just West of the While Mountains and near VT. We loved the feeling we got of being cared for, as well as the peaceful and beautiful location and excellent accommodations. We were tired after a long drive and it was late in the afternoon when we arrived,... More

The Highlands Inn is a little piece of heaven. We drove up for a few days--stayed longer and now wish we were back. The Inn is on over 100 acres of beauty The view out of each and every window is breath taking. A home cooked breakfast is provided each morning in the lovely, sun filled dining room. The rooms... We come here as often as we can; it is about two-and-a-half hours from our house in Maine. We are always warmly welcomed by the innkeepers, and it feels like home. We have been here several years running for Thanksgiving weekend, and came Memorial Day this year also. Rooms are tasteful and comfortable, each room with its own character. Breakfast... More

Breakfast is incredibly delicious. Love the antiques. Friendly and relaxing ambiance. Super views in a tranquil setting. Easy driving to get there. Gia, Jenny and Jackie are wonderful hostesses. And you need to meet Ellie, the friendliest daschund you'll ever meet.
