My wife and I were on this trip to do some hiking, so we did not plan on being in our room all that much, so we were just looking for comfort and a place to clean up. We chose to stay at the hotel portion of this property rather than the B&B. From what we saw the rooms in... More

we stayed there for one night in July; we were a bit disappointed because we stayed in the motel portion of this Inn; our room was adequate but we could still smell the odour of an animal (dog) which probably stayed in this room previously; the rooms in the main building are probably better; the bathroom was also quite small;... We wound up at the wayside inn for just one night enroute to our next destination. It's location on the edge of the white mountains is a great base. It's set back from the road just enough and is right by the river. We were delighted to find that our room in the adjoining motel style part of the inn... More

We had a great 5 day stay at the Wayside Inn, which included a 2 day golf package. Our room overlooked the river, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning and three homemade dinners. The Inn is convenient to all state parks with spectacular hiking and biking. Victory, Kathe and Christian were welcoming and helpful. This is a great place... More

We stayed at the Wayside Inn for two nights over the 4th of July weekend 2014. The location was terrific as we attended the Justin Townes Earle concert at the Colonial Theater on Friday evening. Before we left for the concert, we enjoyed a fine home cooked dinner. I loved the poached trout! It was flavorful with a nice sauce... More

We had a great stay at The Wayside Inn during June 2014.We came to New Hampshire to walk in the White Mountains and this Inn is perfectly located between the Crawford and the Franconia Notches. Crawford Notch visitor centre is 14 miles away and the carpark for Cannon Mountain in Franconia Notch a similar distance away. From the moment we... More

You have to spend a night here to understand what "unwinding" can truly mean. Do not come here if you want fitness centers, a 24 hour manned lobby, flat screen TV and an in room refrigerator. Do not stay here if your idea of a relaxing get away is acting like you are at home, when you are away. Do... More

We stayed at the inn Sunday, May 25. The setting is beautiful. There's a river that runs behind the inn. The room was clean and inviting. We only had time to stay one night, but we are planning to return.

We had dinner at the Wayside Inn because we heard that there was a trained Swiss chef and when we travel to Switzerland we always enjoy the food ! We come to this area often mainly for the skiing and hiking and it is not always easy to find a restaurant with more than average fare or you can search... More

We have been staying at The Wayside Inn for years. It is always a pleasure to be there. Innkeepers Kathe and Victor are welcoming and tidy. Victor's cooking is excellent for breakfast and dinner. The inn itself, old and comfortable, is just outside Bethlehem, breathtakingly quiet, and near Bretton Woods for cross-country and downhill skiing, the Rocks for mapling, and... More
