The Northern Star is under new ownership and we found the place clean and charming. Just perfect for what we were looking for. The new owners seemed really sweet; the location was perfect for us, walking distance to shul and close to hiking during the week. more

Having read some of the reviews about this Inn it brought back some bad memories of our two night visit in October 2006. It was our first time visiting New England and the Inn seemed lovely on the web site I booked through. Unfortunately I fell ill during the holiday and we arrived in Bethlehem in torrential rain and chilly... more

Our family stayed at the Northern Star Inn Bed and Breakfast this week, we received no breakfast and the rudest service we have ever received at any hotel or B&B anywhere. We reserved a family room and carefully cleared the 4 year old son, no email confirmations available. On arrival, the man who checked us in (The female innkeeper is... more

We stayed in the northern star inn for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. the hosts were very nice and went out of their way to accomodate all our special requests. The rooms were very clean, comfortable beds and very homey atmosphere. its on a quiet relaxing side street and you can relax on the outdoor porch overlooking a... more

Nice enough location, quiet side street in a dead village about 15 minutes to Littleton, NH where there is more variety. Felt very safe with local police making frequent cruises on main street to slow down traffic. Fair breakfast, charming house, but bedroom sub-par with 13" black and white TV, uncomfortable bed, and tacky decorating. Friendly but harried hostess who... more

We stayed 24 & 25 of September. There is nothing great about this inn other than price. The bed was okay, breakfast was okay and the inn keeper - well, just don't expect much of a personality. We stayed there because of the price. The room is small with cheap furniture and the bathroom evan smaller. I did not find... more

For what the North Star Inn is--a family run bed and breakfast for budget minded travelers--this place is better that advertised. You get a decent room with a decent bed, a great home cooked breakfast for an extraordinary price ($45/night for a couple during winter). The keepers didn't bother us, and we didn't bother them. They told us we were... more

I spent a weekend in the Northern Star Inn in July,2004. I was treated very poorly by the male who seemed to be in charge. He drove me nuts trying to find a room for me"somewhere on the second floor". The room I ended up with was so small that I had to open the door to my room in... more

We visited Northern Star Inn at fall 2004 with the expectation to spend a good time. We didn’t expect much as the price was on the cheaper side. It turned out to be much worse than what we expected. Here is the summary. Let’s start with the good points: 1. Located at a peaceful place named Bethlehem. It is above... more
