My girlfriend and I are just beginning to travel more so we don't have a ton of experience at this. We wanted to book someplace in the Whites for her 25th birthday, and we were blown away. We could not have been more lucky to stumble upon this gem. The house is beautiful and full of character, lots of places... More

We just spent 5 wonderful days/nights at the Mulburn Inn. We were in the area for a family Christmas - the inn provided the perfect experience. The inn itself is lovely - so warm and welcoming in each detail. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We loved the hardwoods and stained glass throughout - all of which add to... More

Sometimes it's time to step out of the rat race and retreat to a special place--even if it's for only two nights. The White Mountains have always been my escape since the late 70s and, over the last few years, I've happily crossed the threshhold of The Mulburn Inn for relaxation and a much-needed respite from my workaday world. Mary... More

Why stay at The Mulburn Inn? If you reading this review, Mulburn has probably made your short list. So, why choose this one? Because the innkeeper, Mary, is phenomenal. There is no shortage of historic B&B’s in the White Mountains but I doubt you’ll find another innkeeper like Mary. We stayed 3 nights; our room was beautiful, the food was... More

This was our first visit to a Bed & Breakfast, and The Mulburn Inn has set the bar high for any other B & B's that we may experience! The innkeeper and owner Mary was a delight and immediately made us feel at home. She's dedicated to make each person's stay a good one. The Inn is full of rich... More

Innkeeper Mary is amazing. So friendly and helpful. She accomodated our crazy schedule for breakfast which was the best!! We were within short driving distance to White Mountain attractions, Weathervane Theatre, golfing, and restaurants. I had read one review of noise from cars, but seriously didn't hear anything at night and I am light sleeper. It felt as if we... More

In August 2015 we spent a few days with friends at Mulburn Inn. The house and the host were really awesome. Tastefully decorated rooms, lot's of history, excellent rich breakfast, and pleasant hours on the porch made our stay perfect. We drove the Kancamagus highway, went swimming at Swift River Falls (smashing!), hiked Mt. Willard and the Sugarloaf trail, and... More

Mary is an incredible host, you can tell this is her passion. She makes you feel as if the house is your own. Can't say enough about the rooms/ history/and location. Easy to get to all attractions and very quiet even though it is on a main road. Breakfasts are awesome and an added treat when staying here. Can't wait... More

I cannot wait to visit Mary and Mulburn Inn again! The house is amazing - very historical and yet we felt right at home. Mary is instantly a friend and gave us many good suggestions for hikes in the area, local swimming holes, and restaurants. The location is perfect - there's so much to do. I saw the other review... Mary was such a welcoming host at this beautiful inn. You really feel like you're stepping back in time staying in such an historical house but with no compromises with comfort, cleanliness and homeliness. The breakfasts were different each day and very tasty and there was freshly baked brownies or cookies waiting for us at the end of each day.... More
