In August 2015 we spent a few days with friends at Mulburn Inn. The house and the host were really awesome. Tastefully decorated rooms, lot's of history, excellent rich breakfast, and pleasant hours on the porch made our stay perfect. We drove the Kancamagus highway, went swimming at Swift River Falls (smashing!), hiked Mt. Willard and the Sugarloaf trail, and... More

Mary is an incredible host, you can tell this is her passion. She makes you feel as if the house is your own. Can't say enough about the rooms/ history/and location. Easy to get to all attractions and very quiet even though it is on a main road. Breakfasts are awesome and an added treat when staying here. Can't wait... More

I cannot wait to visit Mary and Mulburn Inn again! The house is amazing - very historical and yet we felt right at home. Mary is instantly a friend and gave us many good suggestions for hikes in the area, local swimming holes, and restaurants. The location is perfect - there's so much to do. I saw the other review... Mary was such a welcoming host at this beautiful inn. You really feel like you're stepping back in time staying in such an historical house but with no compromises with comfort, cleanliness and homeliness. The breakfasts were different each day and very tasty and there was freshly baked brownies or cookies waiting for us at the end of each day.... More

I booked a room at the Mulburn Inn months ago after considerable research. A quiet place to stay is top priority for me as I am a very light sleeper and sensitive to noise. On arrival, my husband and I were told we had been 'upgraded' to the 'George Washington Room' since it has a separate shower stall and original... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Mulburn Inn while exploring the White Mountains. The Inn keeper, Mary, welcomed us on our arrival and made sure we were comfortable. The property itself is gorgeous and historic. The rooms were clean, bedding lush and people friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Staying at the Mulburn Inn is like visiting a welcoming member of your own family. Owner/operator Mary greets you with a smile, attends to your every need, and generally sees to it that you'll long to come back. My wife and I spent one night on our way to Canada, selecting the Madison Room, associated with onetime frequent visitor Thomas... More

Historical B&B's are not often affordable, but the Mulburn Inn is, and well worth a stay. Our hostess, Mary was a delight! A gracious young lady dedicated to making sure every guest felt welcome. It's a grand old mansion that was formerly the home of the heiress to the Woolworth fortune. Her guests included stars like Marilyn Monroe and Cary... More

First off, I have to say that you can't have a better innkeeper than Mary! She is very detailed oriented and makes sure that you have everything you need to make it a comfortable and pleasant stay. She is a fantastic cook so your breakfasts and afternoon treats are delectable. Every morning in the bright natural lit dining room is... More

If you're looking to stay in the White Mountains then the Mulburn Inn is THE place to stay. My wife and I have stayed here twice so far and if we could travel from England to the USA every year then the Mulburn is where we'd be - every time. The house, the feel and look, the food, the atmosphere... More
