We dined at The Bedford Village Inn for a holiday with family and friends. First off, the restrooms were dirty and that was an immediate turn off. During dinner, a female in our party asked the watier to taste the wine, & he blatently disregarded the request and gave it to the gentleman to taste. Shocking! The waiter also kept... more

I was hoping for something great...but the Country Inn in Bedford was alot better for the value of your money. The AC didn't work and it was muggy and smelled like there was mold growing on the walls. Very quaint and country, with creaky floors if thats what you like. The only reason we stayed the night was for a... more

We were very impressed with the Bedford Village Inn. We booked the "give us credit" package and we got alot for our money. Upon request, we were able to check in about an hour early. We were there on a monday night, so there were no functions booked at the time of our stay. The Inn itself is extremely charming.... more

My wife and I had a reservation for 4 nights, then unfortunately had to cancel due to unforeseen personal reasons. The Bedford Inn told us we were responsible for payment of first and last night....so we had friends in the area whom we thought we'd give the room to since we paid for it. Even though the Inn was NOT... more

This is our first time doing a Luxury New England Inn, my husband and I enjoy it very much and would recommend this place for friends and family. It was charming, clean, and quiet and the staff was friendly, professional and very helpful. The evening wine & cheese reception was a nice addition. The baked cookies with the turndown service... more

We were looking forward to a nice cozy after-Christmas getaway, so we booked the Bedford Village Inn. We found ourselves in the middle of a big catering hall. Wedding music pounded in our room and wedding guests smoked right outside our room. Parking was hard to find because of all the catering customers. The suite that we had was nicely... more

The Inn fully met our expectations. Its restaurant and tavern were delightfully New England country and the wait staff friendly and helpful. Contrary to an earlier Trip Adviser review, we found the food exceptionally good and the wine and beer selections extensive. Our only complaint was the creaking of the floorboards in the bedrooms. Squeakiness adds to the charm during... more

My husband and I were in a wedding on 9/29 and stayed at the BVI. The room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Bathroom was very nice, but I could have done without the used bar of soap on the side of the bathtub. The meal we had at the wedding was good, but the sirloin was served without steak... more

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon to the deafening sounds of a wedding D.J. We could hear "Celebration" "In Da Club" "Dr. Love" et al from behind our huge suite's closed doors. Luckily, by 6 pm, the wedding had ended. During the interim, we spent a very pleasant two hours at the inn's Tap Room, a dark, happy, and well-stocked... more
