This was the second year we've stayed at the North Colony during our winter ski vacation. We absolutely love this place! It's not fancy. It's not glitzy or glamorous. But it is clean clean clean. It is very comfortable. A fridge and microwave in every room. The views from the front porch are incredible. The motel is a family-run place.... more

Just west of Attitash resort. Even though most rooms were booked - no noise passes between rooms. No views from the room but nice views from the parking lot and you're right on 302. It IS a few miles to store/restaurants, but for $50 per night I thought it was a very good deal. more

This was a great place. The owners are so welcoming and helpful. We asked about Seafood restaurants in the area and they provided us with two possibilities, including a coupon for one and a menu to look at for the other. My kids (13 and 8) both loved the pool and the extensive playground. Our room was nice and clean... more

We absolutely loved staying here. We were there for 4 nights.Very Clean, nice size rooms. Bathrooms look newly redone. Owners are wonderful and very pleasant. Yes, it's away from the hub bub of North Conway and all the restaurants, but we still did well. Also, very kid friendly, lots of play areas for them. We will definitely be going back. more

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place, and there's a great playground for the kids, lots of grass, some flowers, and a nice pool. The rooms are not special, but they do have everything I expected, including two comfortable arm chairs. Only the bouncy foamy pillows were sort of bogus, but they did look new. The price was... more

We stayed in one of the cottages this weekend and we loved it! The cottages were very clean with modern appliances. Our family had a great time with Storyland not too far away, plus the added bonus of swimming and a huge playground right on the hotel grounds. We are already planning on going back next year. more

The hotel is in a handsome location. The price is a big selling point. The fridge and microwave is nice, especially for hikers. However, it's a real drive for food. That's the trade-off. more

We stayed at this motel for 2 nights to tour the surrounding area. It was a good base point for exploring. The motel is nothing fancy by any means but it is a nice family oriented place with plenty of playground equipment my daughter loved, especially the tire swing. The rooms were clean and the people friendly. It was a... more

I spent 2 nights at the North Colony with my husband and 2 daughters, 12 and 14. I picked the North Colony because it had a diving board. Both my daughters love to swim and dive. The water was great and both girls enjoyed it. As my girls were swimming I could sit poolside and enjoy the scenery. The motel... more

We stayed at the North Colony Hotel the last week of June. What a great place!! My two -year old daughter loved the play area, as did the other kids we saw there. The room was clean, the pool was great, and our family was very happy there. We can't wait to go back. We also have an eight month... more
