This little motel is GREAT! Our whole fmaily loves it. It has everything! a HUGE playground, tether ball, volley ball, basketball, a beautiful heated pool, a fire pit, and grills so you can grill your own food (big cost savings right there!) as well as many picnic tables and some relaxing swings for the adults. The rooms are VERY clean and... What a wonderful experience we had at this lovely, small motel. Just the right size to meet other travelers and their children. The playground and pool almost beat out Storyland in our great-granddaughters eyes. Extremely clean and well kept rooms and grounds. Friendly owners were available for any advice on places to eat and other questions. We stayed in the... More

Stayed in a 2 queen motel room in the back for 2 nights midweek in July '14. First the Pros: The owner was polite and helpful. Check-in was quick + easy. Prices were reasonable and we saved a bit on park tickets by getting the package deal. The playground was awesome and imaginative. The grounds and pool are clean and... More

Stayed here for two nights with my wife and two daughters for a Storyland trip. I had read the wonderful reviews so I admittingly went in with some assumptions. There were some pros and some cons during our stay. Pros: The playground is amazing. I believe this is what keeps bringing families with small children here. My children had a... More

This was the first time we stayed at the Motel and it certainly won't be the last! A quick 5 minutes away from Storyland, our children loved the playground more than the park itself! Rooms were incredibly clean, the pool was fabulous and the views were spectacular. The crooked playhouses are so unique! Joe and Nancy are gracious and helpful... More

We stayed here for two nights and took advantage of a Storyland package. The playground is awesome, it was the selling point for us staying there with our 5 and 3 year old children. The price was excellent, location was good, rooms were immaculate. We stayed in unit 1 at the end, beds a bit uncomfortable but that could just... More

When we book a vacation, we search reviews for clean rooms first and narrow our choices down from there. For this trip, we also wanted friendly owners, a fun place for our young kids, and comfort (but not necessarily luxury since we'd be out of the room most of the time). We did not want to spend most of our... More
