Certainly in no way did the Zephyr Cove Resort meet my expectations. Upon arrival we found that their offsite reservation office had mistakenly booked us into one of the tiny cabins that did not have a separate bedroom. In theory it may have slept 4 as advertised, but certainly not in any kind of comfort. The hotel manager was sympathetic... more

Nice cabin with lake view, spacious, gas burning stove for atmosphere. Restaurant on site, some lake views. Quiet after staying in a big city. more

Wow! I cannot believe this resort has received such bad reviews. My Wife and I are returning today from a 4 night trip at this fabulous resort. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!! This is the best romantic getaway ever! This is our second time staying at this resort. The best part is that we stayed in a lakefront cabin (#12 has the... more

If you own a 40ft travel home you will be in pig heaven. If you are camping, this may be the worst experience of your life. We have stayed in a lot of campgrounds across the Nation. This was almost the worst (the worst involved swarms of horse-flys that attacked us). No level ground for tents. Maybe 15 feet between... more

Avoid this under-policed place like the plague. Throngs of ill-behaved youths, underage drinking, drug use on premises, and laughably inept security - Zephyr Cove Resort should be reported to whatever public body Aramart leases this lakefront property from. Hardly family friendly - and quite the opposite, families are menaced by the huge numbers of thugs and punks. We were there... more

We just returned from our first stay at the Zephyr Cove Resort. We will not return. From the moment we arrived, we were treated very poorly. When I made the reservation, I had asked for several specific RV sites that were recommended by friends. I was told that none of the sites were booked and we should have no problem... more

My wife, 2 kids (10,11) and dog just stayed for a long weekend. We were looking for a lakeshore cabin in N. Cal for a weekend getaway that was also pet friendly. Zephyr Cove resort met all the above requirements. We've been to Tahoe numerous times and stayed at either Harvey's or Forrest Inn Suites (both very good, but not... more

Stayed there for a one night stay! Loved it! I was a little afraid that when I booked the studio it would be a studio! Sure enough it was, but it was a private studio cabin! I loved it! Very nice and secluded! Went during a non-busy weekend, and the grounds were nice and kept up! Room was pretty good... more

My sister and I booked this hotel for Valentine's Day weekend as a surprise for our boyfriends. When we got there, not only were they surprised but we were also. The hotel totally exceeded our expectations. The 4 of us stayed in the lodges above the retaurant. They are gorgeous rooms. Your first impression is WOW! They are well worth... more

We made a last-minute reservation to stay at Zephyr Cove Resort overnight on January 7, 2006. Staff at the front desk was friendly. We had a one-bedroom non-smoking, detached cabin for my husband, two kids, and me. We should've ordered a rollaway bed, since the kids were not very comfortable with sleeping on the sofa cushions. Also, I think because... more
