I stayed one night in Winnemucca in room 218 with my daughter and we were eaten alive by bedbugs. My daughter, it turns out, is allergic to them and is still covered in big red itchy bites. What a horrible stench in the room we had. Lamps didn't work, maintenance guy came to replace bulbs and commented on the awful smell. My husband thought it smelled like rotten shrimp..I couldn't put a description to it, it was just bad! We were just passing through from Park City back to California, looking for a clean, basic room. Although the upper floor is supposedly all "non-smoking", the hallways smelled of smoke. I stayed in this hotel because other hotels were booked. I found aints in my room and beds were sagging, carpet was dirty like never shampooed in last 10 yrs, the whole place was smell like smoke, breakfast was sucks, customer service was horrible. Never stayed in this hotel. becareful. more

Winnemucca has grown in size and every place now seems to offer gambling along with their hotels. We pulled in at about 1:30 in the morning. The front desk staff was pleasant for being so early in the morning. They have large, clean rooms, and are very pet friendly (only $10 for our little dog). Lots of room for parking big rigs (we had a very long car trailer and car, easy to park and pull out).... more

Rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was ample. Location next to a grocery store was good for our family, and across the street from a western wear store was good for wanna be cowboy teenager! more
