This is a great spot for a bed and a quiet room on a drive back and forth from points north & south. The rates are quite low ($38 for one bed/2 people), but don't let that scare you! After leaving Hailey, Idaho while on a business trip I intended to spend the next night in Winnemucca. I called ahead to book a room only to find all of the national chain motels full. After a long day driving, the Scott Shady Court was a godsend with its covered, heated pool and sauna. The management was helpful, and the price was right. My only problem here was the aged electrical outlets that would not accomodate my 3-prong plugs for laptop, and rechargers for cellphone and iPod. The room was also TINY. But an hour... more
