An older hotel with casino. Managed to win enough on the roulette wheel for the two night stay and the truck repair, so we were pretty happy. Room was comfortable. We had two dogs, so were happy that dogs were allowed. Very friendly staff, had a great time. Good place to have a breakdown :-)

I really try to take the high road when i write a review. Well here it is. If I were to drive through Winnemucca with out my family and it was late and i only needed a place to sleep and to get on the road early the next day this would be good. A couple of free drink coupons... More

If you like cigarette smoke then this is the place for you. This is an old hotel that was probably very nice sometime around 1940. The staff try to keep it clean but the entire motel and hallway smell of smoke. My room was a smoking room, and I didn't know that any motels had those anymore. They had obviously... More

When we checked in it was thru the casino and all looked fine. When we opened the door to our room across the street and walked in..I almost started crying. It was NASTY! We went to the casino and asked for our money back which they DID refund. Then we had to pay almost TRIPLE to get a pet room... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to review us! We are sorry we could not meet your standards. Because your criteria were very narrow -- ground floor, two beds, pet room -- unfortunately, we could not offer you any another room. That room, though clean, is getting old -- along with the one next to it, it is... More

My husband and I chaperoned a group of 4H kids to a conference held at the Winnemucca Convention Center (which is conveniently located kitty-corner from Winners). Our group was split into different buildings---one chaperone and some of the kids located outside across the street; my husband and I upstairs inside the main building. When we unloaded the luggage and saw... More

Thank you for your review. I apologize for the mistake we made on your first room. This does not happen often. I apologize, too, that we could not accommodate your whole group in one place; your conference was held on the same weekend as a large rodeo event. I am glad our staff was helpful, and that we were able... More

My daughter and her family came to Winnemucca for my wedding on February 14. She was here from thurs, February 13 thru Sunday February 16. We went to the room to see visit with my family and we had to walk through piles of bird crap outside the broken emergency door outside her room. Once in the room I looked... More

Thank you very much for calling this to our attention. The emergency exit door that was stuck in the open position was fixed weeks ago, but the litter problem had escaped our notice, since hardly anyone ever uses that vertigo-inducing metal fire escape. It's all cleaned up, now. As for your suggestion that the property needs attention -- we agree!... More

I have been staying at the Winners Casino Hotel for quite a few years when in town for conventions. It has provided an ok place at a good price and close location to convention hall. The run down: 1. Check in is fairly easy at the desk. Rooms never ready before 3pm. 2. Rooms in hotel are average at best.... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us! Just a couple of quick corrections: 1.) The majority of our rooms (about 2/3) actually do have bathtubs 2.) About a third of our rooms have a $49.95 winter rate from Oct. through mid-February. However, our occupancy rate is pretty good, so those rooms tend to sell out. If the lowest... More

I just got home from a work holiday in Winnemucca Nevada, where I was staying at the Winners Hotel and Casino. Their restaurants have great food, They serve what is called a billboard special. As an example for breakfast it was steak and eggs for $5.99, great steak and eggs. For dinner they had all you could eat spaghetti with... More

Herb...the entertainment manager introduced himself. He bought us cocktails.....made us feel right at home...live music was awesome. Casino is worn but better than down the street. The food was descent. I would not recommend the free chips and salsa...we would definitely stay again.

We did not like this place at all. The casino is little and old and the room we got was across the street from the casino. The room was old and worn and has seen better days. Would not stay here again

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It sounds like you stayed in our "Courtyard" section (formerly, "La Villa"), which is currently our low-cost option. Should you see fit to give us another chance, may we suggest our fully renovated "Hotel" section, featuring inside entrances and B&B charm? Or our "Terrace" section, featuring large suites with in-room... More
