I stayed here before for a few days during the winter and did not have a good experience. The old manager was rude and never saw the housekeepers the entire time. But this last trip I heard that said they were under new management and ownership. I got there pretty late at night, but the front desk woman was smiling... More

The room was dirty and the bed was very uncomfortable. The upholstered chairs wer stained and I was afraid to sit in them. I didn't trust the bed so I slept on top of the comforter. Very noisy place. The breakfast offered was stale coffee and dried out donuts. Don't stop here. Just keep on driving!

As others has previously stated this place should be avoided. After a very long day of travel we tried to find a room in Winnemucca but something was happening and there were no rooms available except for here. The room smelled, bathroom was dirty and disgusting, we wouldn't walk on the carpet even in socks, sheets looked like someone might... More

I pull up there late at night, ring the night bell as the door is locked. The owner comes out and wildly starts waving in my direction, not really sure what he means I ask through the door if he has any vacancy, but all he does is increase the wildness of his wave. After a while of this I... More

I'm not sure what the previous reviewers are on about -- maybe Economy Inn in Winnemucca has just cleaned up their operation, or these people are expecting 5-star quality for under $60/night in small town Nevada. I travel with my girlfriend around the country quite a bit, and "cheap" drive-up motels are our go tos. We chose Economy Inn on... More

I & my husband arrived very tired & late one evening. We paid $55 with a credit card. When we walked into the room, we noticed the floor was covered in chips & crumbs & the room smelled very bad. I lifted up the cushion on the chair & could tell it had never been cleaned - it was disgusting!... More

We pulled in late at night to get a room. Most other hotels were full, but I quickly discovered why this one still had vacancy. I spoke to the night manager who was an older man in his 50's-60's. I asked how much rooms were and was told the price. I asked if they offerred a military discount, and he... More

With my family for a quick overnight stay. Room was supposed to be nonsmoking but reeked of smoke. I should have left right then as my son has asthma...the floor was disgusting. I didn't take my shoes off. Beds seemed clean until we pulled down the blankets to find another set of sheets waded up and covered with blood; garbage... More

After a long day driving I pulled into the Economy Inn, not realizing there were some other hotels further down the road. The rate was $55 and I asked if they had any deals. The woman hesitated and then said "well, there's room 103 for $50". I should have known right then and there to walk away. It was like... More
