The house is beautiful, but used to be a ramshackle wreck. Afternoon tea is an affair of home made cookies--good cookies, and the proprietress, a former teacher of Nevada history has baking awards displayed on the wall. Chris and Carolyn are gracious hosts, their restored home is beautifully appointed, the breakfasts are A+, and their knowledge of local history expands your appreciation of Virginia City and the area.
