My husband booked this B&B for one of our visits to Virginia City. Our room was very sweet and Leisa was very helpful with information about the area. She cooked a wonderful breakfast the next morning. We had such a nice visit with her while we ate. We look forward to seeing her again next time we stay in Virginia... More

Our group had two rooms in two different buildings that were chosen because they are downstairs; The Maggie Belle ($129) and the James Fair ($119). The prices are good since they include breakfast and it was outstanding. There is just one daily selection, but the omelette, bacon, fruit, coffee and juice were very tasty and very generous. It was served... More

We decided on a spur-of-the moment trip to Virginia City for the Labor Day weekend, and made reservations here after checking it out online. The rooms are small, but decorated with authentic period touches, and very comfortable. Because it is located one street up from the main drag, and on a hillside, it is convenient for walking (didn't use our... More

The accomodations were very nice, though the rooms are very small. My party of four stayed in two seperate rooms, and checked in about thirty minutes late. We called to inform Leisa that we would be late, so she went ahead and charged the rooms to my daughters debit card, without even asking! She was a bit pushy at this... More

The inn is located a street above the main street. It is very quaint and quiet; the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view and wildlife. A pair of quail were exploring the property during our stay. There are also courtyards between each of the houses where you can sit in the shade and unwind with a book or... More

My husband and I stayed here one night, and couldn't have been happier with our stay! Please remember:you visit Virginia City to step back in time. There is no fast food or even a gas station! The Edith Palmer Country Inn stays with the theme. No,there is no hairdryer provided so bring your own. They provide wonderful toiletries, and our building was... More

We have been to Virginia City a number of times and when we have stayed overnight we have learned to expect a certain amount of old-west rustic flair in the lodging when staying in town - what we found in Edith Palmer's far exceeded our expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised with the accommodations at Edith Palmer's. The room we... More

This a quaint and almost idiosyncratic Inn with lots of charm and personal touches that make it a lively change from the normal chain hotels. The breakfast was very good with fresh food from the markets that very morning. And the hostess was, after a brief luke warm start, a warm and engaging adviser on local events. All in all... More

From the time I e-mailed the Inn to the time we rode off this place was kind, friendly, and quiet. A very nice clean room. I really could not find any negatives about the room, except maybe the bathroom paint and the need for a "proper" finish touch, ohh and the tv was a very tiny little box, but who... More

Booked for short trip to Nevada and never dreamed we would be staying in such a delightful place. The room, the James Flood Room, was clean, bed very comfortable, and easy access. Women take a hairdryer. The staff, Leisa, Pat, Michael, Alexa, and Sierra absolutely outstanding!! Leisa knows so much history of the area of Virginia City and most of... More
