After reading so many positive reviews, we were excited to spend a night at Edith Palmer's during our summer road trip. We stay in many small hotels/motels each summer, and often enjoy the uniqueness of each one, as well as the typically friendly service provided by these types of places. We were not expecting the amenities of a big-box/chain type... More

We stayed in the James Flood room at the end of February. The room was immaculate, and well decorated with period furniture. The only problem we had was the very uncomfortable bed. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. Coffee in the room would have been appreciated. The owner was very informative and helpful. Would stay again, only would have... More

This is a really nice B&B within a few short blocks to the main street in Virginia City. The rooms are very clean and updated in older historic homes. There are a couple of houses on the street which is part of the B&B. There is a small resturant on site. I did not eat there so cannot comment. However,... More

Beautiful B&B. Great breakfast. Friendly, helpful owners. Quiet and comfortable. This is an old town. Rooms in Virginia City are smallish but mine at Palmers was beautiful and quite adequate. Hey, it's a wonderful town with lots to do. So, are you gonna sit in your room? You can get much cheaper rooms downtown. Friends who have stayed there complained... More

The James Flood room was our home for two nights and we found it extremely comfortable, clean and quaint. This inn and the inn keepers made our stay more than we hoped for and we would recommend you stay here. The garden area is nice for relaxing. The location is extremely quiet and a short walk to everything in town.... More

Leisa and Pat have done a very nice job on this place! made for a very romantic stay for the two of us as we celebrated my wifes Birthday! Leisa was a very... More

Spent two wonderful nights in the Evelyn room. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The B&B was close to Main Street, we walked everywhere. Hearing the church bells ring and the sound of the train engine while laying in bed was surreal. Felt like we were staying at Grandma's 55 years ago.

This B&B is very nice. We only stayed one night but the room was very clean and comfortable. Located one street off the main drag and very quiet, perfect after a long day of road tripping. Would definitely stay again.

This is a real treasure, off the main street so it is quiet but very close to all the shopping, museums and other attractions The owner is so gracious and kind; she makes you feel at home right away. The room I chose was on the main floor which I recommend for anyone who needs or prefers an elevator. It... More

Having had a horrendous stay at a different hotel in town, I opted for my third night here. It was not near town, very quiet and made me feel very safe. The owner was so nice and had a lot of historic stories to tell. The room, while small, was perfect for me as I was by myself. I loved... More
