My husband and I decided to spend our anniversary at the Silver Queen. When we got there (in the off-season) the hotel was about to close for the night. As it turned out, we were the only occupants that night. All the staff went home in the early evening. We were given the 'haunted' room, but something was wrong with... More

I'm going back to stay a coupl of nights next month during Paranormal conference. Last time I was there was just after Labor day weekend in 2012. We stayed in room 18 on the third floor which had a magnificent view from the huge windows overlooking the Sugarloaf Mountains and directly down on the main street of Virginia City. The... More

The room was so dusty I couldn't sleep because I became so congested, we stayed in room 11 and the only haunts were people hanging around our door around midnight talking loudly about the story of the room. The lady running the place was okay. Our door didn't lock and we tried to tell someone but we got tired of... More

Stayed at this famous historic "haunted" hotel, room #4. Did not hear or see any ghosts but did hear guests in other rooms. Visit the historic Silver Queen (real silver dollars) in the historic bar. A fun visit gives a view of what it was like in the rowdy 1870s. Clean room, not fancy. Thin walls, narrow halls and stairs,... More

Heard a lot about this haunted hotel and my wife and I decided to take a shot. We stayed in room 19 on the third floor it had a great view from the window, and the hotel was booked. The room was small and the bathroom smaller and had a ceiling fan, with no amenities which is as it should... More

Stayed with the family in this room. Place is full of nothing but drunks and loud people. History of building is neat and looks cool but real dirty. Found nasty boxers in cabinet and dust bunnies everywhere. Tub sits on railroad blocks in the bedroom, no room for anything really. Smoke from downstairs comes up through floor, walls etc. Real thin... More

Stayed in room 11 on my birthday, 9/28 and also 9/29. Brought investigation equipment and got an extremely good Class A EVP and lots and lots of EMF spikes on Friday night. Haven't reviewed the pics yet but am pretty sure (just by glancing at the previews on the camera) that I caught something by the door of room 12.... More

"No blowdryer"...Duh.. its 1876! We stayed 3 nights in 3 different rooms. 11,29,13.. Is it haunted? After reveiwing over 500 pictures, 4 hours of infered video, and hours of EVPs...YES, it is! Room 13 overnight cam shows orbs flying around all night! Yes, the walls are thin and you hear your neighbors, but the first nite in room 11, we... More
