I rated the Silver Queen at a 5 not because of the five-star amenities it has to offer but because she stands true to what she is. This hotel was built in the 1800s and most of it is still authentic with some very minor changes. The staff at the Silver Queen are very kind, courteous and accommodating. Everything in... More

When we walked into the Silver Queen we found that it was setup for a wedding that afternoon. I didn't realize that in the back was a wedding chapel. But the main reason we came in was to see the picture of the Silver Queen. The dress of the lady in the picture is made up of 3,261 silver dollars... More

We got married here in October. Karen was such a huge help and so friendly. The rooms are old fashioned. One outlet, no phone, no tv, and...that's the way it should be. Our room, room 12 had a fan and windows. That was a huge plus given that it is pretty warm still in Virginia CIty in October. The minister... More

As a paranormal/photography enthusiast, the Silver Queen had the makings of an eventful stay. in Virginia City, there is stage brush history in every dwelling that you happen to pass through. The Hotel itself, was a comfortable stay. The staff was very friendly and courteous, and the owner even let me open up the adjoining room to broaden my investigation... More

Perfect Virginia City experience. Hotel older than dirt with many great stories, opera house directly behind it with even more history. It's not the trump obviously, but it's a wonderful experience. The character of the hotel and the rooms are special. Try to surprise your wife with the bunk bed room, it's unique.

I love this hotel! Perfect to just walk down the stairs and be right on the main street to watch all the motorcycles parading by.The bar in the hotel has excellent Bloody Mary's and the staff is very friendly

I really loved staying in this hotel! It was very clean and the ceiling fans above the beds were so nice to have.Amazing historic hotel and probably my favorite hotel I have stayed in.It was so nice not having a TV in the room.

My fiance and I stayed at the Silver Queen for the Nick Groff tour in August. When we first called to reserve the room, the person we talked to had evidently mixed up the dates we reserved. We booked in June and they called us in July thinking we were coming in then. We told them we were actually coming... More

Stayed at the Silver Queen on a Wednesday night in June. The hotel is very old so we weren't expecting top notch amenities. The bed was very old and room was kind of warm on account of no AC, but I found the charm of the hotel out weighed any negatives. Definitely heard some creaking and people walking around at... More
