Stayed here on New Year's Eve with several other people. It was fantastic. Teresa who runs this fabulous place was an amazing host. We wanted to get up there earlier so we brought dinner with us and were invited to use the kitchen as it was our own. I definitely am going to come stay during the summer while the... More

Our second stay at Tahoe House was just as comfortable as our first...sooo relaxing. Tahoe House is at the unique intersection of history and comfort. The hotel brings out the history...the authentic history...of mining history in the old west of the late 1800's. Several friends and family met at the Tahoe House to enjoy New Years. All of us had... We stayed in the Bullion Room, at the rear of the hotel with a patio just outside. Really quiet room and spacious enough for our stay. Although the bed was quite soft, a single night was worth the stay! The common great room was lots of fun with all the travelers...it was Christmas time and tree decorating was going on.... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tahoe House. Looking forward to staying there again. Teresa was a wonderful hostess. Had fun trying on hats for pictures! Stayed in the Hoisting Works room, very quiet and comfortable. Easy access to everything .

We had a wonderful visit to the hotel, as usual. We like a quite getaway and purposely look for the less eventful weekends in Virginia City. Teresa is so gracious, hard working, and goes out of her way to make us feel at home.

Theresa was so Awesome she let us in our room hours before check in so we could get settled and changed for the race. We stayed in the Mark Twain Study room #1. It was beautiful and homey. Had two sets of... More

I stayed in room #6 for four nights, spacious and clean rooms, very comfortable bed. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Located in town on main street. Here for a family wedding with friends and family so it was a great gathering place. I highly recommend the Tahoe House.

I would highly recommend staying at the Tahoe House Hotel. I stayed two nights for a girlfriend get away. My friends had stayed twice before and they could not have picked a better place. The 1859 decor was true to the times and made our stay even more fun. We stayed in the rooms with the balcony, this was a... More

Theresa, the proprietor, is terrific! She called us to let us know that our room was ready, and made us feel right at home. The hotel has been nicely restored, is very clean, and is full of charm. Location is great. The breakfast of muffins, fruit, juice, and coffee was a nice touch. Our room had a balcony that overlooked... More
