Paul was a great host for this amazing B&B. The personal tour of Virginia City was an added bonus! The house is wonderful, and the food was great. We'd definitely stay here again. more

The innkeepers, Paul and Jeff made our trip. They are so...fun and interesting. The house is a carpenters treasure. Having been around remodeling all my life I really appreciated the quality and care that had been taken in remodeling this wonderful Victorian home. I chose this B&B over the others because of the wonderful reviews. I came expecting the very... more

My husband and I have stayed at several B&B's, but this is the only one we will return to year after year. We stayed here after the great reviews, but the reviews don't even begin to touch on the experience of the Cobb Mansion. We felt pampered from the moment we made the reservation. Our hosts, Paul and Jeff, were... more

We felt right at home; Paul and Jeff have that effect. This was by far the most hospitable B&B experience we have ever had. Happy hour with a cooking demonstration, gourmet breakfast and a guided tour of Virginia City in a 1948 convertible helped to make this an outstanding weekend. Paul also gave us a tour of Cobb mansion, a... more

I, along with two of my girlfriends, went to Virginia City for the weekend and we stayed at Cobb Mansion. I cannot say enough about it! The innkeepers, Paul and Jeff, were so incredibly hospitable and the breakfasts served were absolutely delicious. Paul makes it a point to take his guests on a tour of the town in his 1948... more

My wife and I stayed at the Cobb Mansion on New Year's Eve. The mansion has been meticulously renovated and the rooms are very attractive, clean and comfortable. The best part about staying at the Cobb Mansion, however, were our hosts. They were a fountain of knowledge about the history of the mansion and surrounding area and were so easy... more

We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Cobb Mansion. We wanted a quiet and special holiday and that is what we got at this wonderful B & B. The owners treat you like family and the warm inviting atmosphere made us want to take up extended residency. We were greeted with homemade dessert treats and an invitation to tour... more

You will not find a more beautiful place, the Cobb mansion and its Hosts are wonderful, they are the keepers of Virginia City history, gourmet cooks, and two of the most likeable people you will ever meet! They helped us plan our day with serveral recommendation and never steered us wrong. Breakfast was magnificent bounty of treats each day, rooms... more

My husband and I were looking for a weekend "getaway" and chose Virginia City, Nv. We wanted a fun, but elegant B & B, and felt the Cobb Mansion was just what we were looking for. We soon discovered that we struck "gold" with our choice. From the moment of our arrival to the too soon departure, we truly had... more

True to Town's Character of Unexpected Pleasures and Surprises Just finished making an annual trip July 2008 to Virginia City, Nevada, my 20th. It's one of my favorite automobile trips, never failing to offer new surprises in a town long famous not only for the silver and gold mines of the Comstock Lode, but for bending the rules from the... more
