Arrived here after a long journey From Kings Canyon Ca in Aug 2010. late in the evening. Every where else seemed to have no vacancy signs up so rock and a hard place syndrome. The room like the hotel was a bit run down but we were too tired to care all that much and slept well, left early next... More

Nice lobby, but downhill from there. It was mid May 90 degrees and the pool wasn’t available shut down by the city they said, the ice machine was broken (part on order) but we could get some from the office, the internet only worked in the lobby on your own laptop, and lastly we only got 10 of the 40+... More

IN April 2007 I stayed at the Silver Queen Motel for a total of $38.15. The property had entered that downward spiral common to older motels where the place no longer attracts enough business to generate revenue for upkeep, so it looks progressively more shabby, so fewer visitors, so less revenue, and so on. Not very new, but it was clean and everything worked fine. $39+tax in April 05.
