When we checked in there were fresh baked cookies and coffee available. The staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel and room were both nicely decorated and comfortable. Just wanted a one nighter on route to vegas. In sure Tonopah had its heyday-about 80 years ago. It is now a one horse town withoiut the horse! The hotel was the best in town,comfortable anf convenient. Only place to eat in town apart from service stations and Mcs was a nice mexican,well worth a visit. Nothing much in entertainment... more

Our 2nd time here - this time we turned up on the spur of the moment. Reception was very helpful in finding co-located rooms and addressing a minor problem. Both check-in and out was efficient and friendly. Added bonus was the complimentary breakfast which included omelette and bacon. more

For less than $90 incl. tax and breakfast this was a better deal than the three other Best Westerns we stayed at on our journey. Better to ask for an upper floor room (if you don´t mind the steps to the first floor), and one away from the main road. We had a good, comfortable room and a great bed.... more

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor we decided on the Hi-Desert Inn, glad we did. Our room was clean and quiet, had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Internet worked fine. Desk clerk was very nice. We ate at the El Marquez Mexican restaurant down the street, on a recommendation of desk clerk, very good food. Will stay there again... more

Ahh 'Tonopah' .... what can I say about good ol' Tonopah. I'll bet the graduating high school seniors I saw would say "It's a great place to be FROM!" :) LOL This Best Western IS the best place to stay. Quiet and comfortable room.
