Unfortunately we made reservations the day before we were to go through Tonopah and this was the only wothtwhile non-smoking place available. The check in clerk was very friendly and room was fairly clean. Bed sheets were clean and beds comfortable. Our room was right next to the Mizpah and during the night there was a single noisy vehicle that... More

We stayed in Tonopah as a central point between two places we were going so not through choice. Room was clean and well equipped though was a little tired. Very informative brochure of local history and things to in the room. Clean, simple and reasonable value

Tonopah books up early, and 4 days in advance this was the only place left that didn't look scary. It turned out to be a nice place, clean and comfortable, across from the Mizpah Hotel in the center of town. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Don't miss out on the Kozy Korner coffee shop and cafe across the street. Delicious... More

We stayed in the Belle Butler Suite at the Jim Butler Motel. The room was absolutely gorgeous. It was big and roomy, the bed was so comfortable. We didn't use the fireplace but it really makes for a cute romantic touch. Be prepared for the shower head placement, my boyfriend is 6'2" and I'm 5'3", we both had to bend... More

Stayed here for 1 night on our way to LV from Lake Tahoe and had a great experience. The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. Rooms are to a good standard and very clean. Beds were comfortable and shower fine. Rooms had microwave and fridge plus iron and ironing board. One excellent touch was the information pack in each... More

We were driving round trip from Las Vegas to Reno. Because we were taking our time and stopping along the way we decided that Tonopah was a good stopping point. We chose Jim Butler because it was center of town. The rooms are kind of dark and definitely could use an upgrade but it was clean and comfortable. Being on... More

The desk clerk was friendly. The bed was soft, but comfy. The TV has a mind of its own. At first it wouldn't turn on and then about 10 min. later it cam on by itself. The channel line-up is crappy. Signing on to the internet was temperamental, but it worked fine once you were on. The A/C worked well.... More

Tonopah, NV is a very small town, in the middle of the desert, with not much to choose from. The room was a good size, clean, and had every thing we needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had booked on line at one price and when we arrived, the clerk reduced the price to the senior rate. Room... More

Nice Stop! The building is old but quaintly and pleasantly decorated. The registration folks are pleasant, helpful, and efficient. The room was large and even though it was close to the highway, we slept soundly without interruption. The room and bathroom were clean and was adequately appointed. An obvious rearrangement had left the microwave with a cord too short to... More

I had made a room reservation on the website and received a confirmation email. I got to the hotel late in the afternoon on my arrival date only to find out I don't in fact have a place to stay. All other hotels where booked. Staff was confused and unapologetic. Had to drive an additional 4 hours to get to... More
