At checking in, the lady was so nice. She let us choose between two rooms. We chose the room with more windows. Loved it. Homey and comfortable. Loved to look at each floor. Restaurant food was good, however hostess told us she would seat us shortly and then forgot we were there. Waitress offered desert and then didn't bother to... More

Mizpah Hotel Tonopah, Nevada made for a great stop after departing a morning convention in Las Vegas on our way to Reno. Booked the "Lady in Red Room" as a surprise for my wife! No ghost and no pearls on the pillow. Just a wonderful dinner and a great nights sleep! Wish we would have had the time to go... More

Slip into yesteryear when hotels were luxurious and the staff was there to help you in any way needed....with a smile; and a quality restaurant with EXCELLENT cuisine. The bar and casino have an old west saloon atmosphere. Just total enjoyment all the way!!

I had one good experience here -- the prime rib dinner was just fine -- and one bad experience -- breakfast the following day was a disaster. I really wanted to thoroughly like this hotel, but the Management needs to regroup, a bit. Old architecture and interesting history can only go so far. The furnishings were just fine for the... I have always loved this old hotel. they just don't build them like this anymore. It comes with the usual quirks of a historic building, but has all the ornate construction that was so grand in design during the mining boom. ask for the history of the lady in red room. Bottom line is this...If you like historic buildings and... More

Love Staying ~ but ~ am wondering what has happened with your food service. Changes to the menu, quality not good. I am guessing you must have had a change in staffing....if so, not a smart move. I am now eating at the Brewing Co & Kozy Korner.

The historic (and haunted) Mizpah Hotel was a pleasant surprise to find in Tonopah Nevada. We booked an economy room and while the room was small the beds and bedding were quite comfortable, the furnishings were antique, and all the lighting fixtures in old style brass. In short, we found the place quite charming. In the event you didn't want... More

Me and my friends stayed here. Very clean, historical and we got a Ghost tour from Gayle! Most fun evening with my Back Country Horsemen group, we were accommodated in every way with very pleasant friendly employees. We definitely be back!

Nicely redone 100 year old hotel, the best in Tonopah even if that doesn't take much. Great job in restoring the beauty of this great old building's rooms, reception area and bar. The staff is pleasant and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. Always worth a stop when traveling through central NV.

We spent one night in the Mizpah Hotel in Tonopah, NV. Hotel was built in 1905? operated until about 2000 then closed for about 19 years. Purchased by Jacuzzi family and renovated to the best of the early 1900's. We stayed in a junior suite ( room 330? )and were very impressed with the comfort of the king bed and... More

Thank you so much for your comments. We are so proud of having restored this 107 year old hotel to it's former grandeur and glory. I agree there is so much to see in Tonopah with it's rich mining and military history. Thank you and please come visit with us again! More
