My husband and I stopped for lunch at the Mizpah Café last week on our way to a camping weekend with our son and his family. The staff (especially Louise, aka Weesie) were awesome. The lunch (Mizpah Burger and BLT w/Garlic Fries) was FABULOUS. Don't stop here if you're in a big stomping hurry, but if you have a little... More

The Mizpah is a beautifully restored historic hotel with comfortable king bed rooms. Be sure to walk the stairs so you can see the antiques on every floor. Our friends stayed in the "Lady in Red" room and the room and furniture were very pretty. We traveled with 10 friends on 7 motorcycles and had a great trip riding through... More

This historic hotel has been carefully preserved and restored and was such a pleasure to stay at. We have traveled to Tonopah many times and for years this hotel was sadly closed but the new owners have done a really incredible job of bringing the hotel back to life. The room we had was small but very well appointed with... More

Friendly staff, great restaurant and well-appointed Victorian rooms. A great stop on your way to Vegas. Check out the gift shop...they sell White Buffalo jewelry. Rare, beautiful and reasonable. You will love the bar area, the stained glass windows are original.

Well, after reading some of the other reviews.....we had no experience w/huge insects. This is the desert. Bugs have a way of their own. We had a lizard come into our room in Moab. But that isn't the hotel's fault. Staff attitude is however. Ah well. Anyway, our room, tho on the small side, was lovely. We'd like to go... More

We had huge expectations for this hotel and to be fair, it is a remarkable job done by the owners in restoring this place (and it is done beautifully!). However, they definately need to work on their customer service and basic hygienic compliance. We were peacefully relaxing in our queen economy room (which is rather tiny, although the bathroom was... More

Yes, the rooms are small but liked the nice touch of fresh coffee on each floor by 0600. Was surprised there was a gym, only 3 cardio machine but did not expect one so pleasantly surprised. If you booked online, and are AAA or military ask for discount at check in. Ate at BBQ across street for dinner and deli... More

This is a renovated, rustic and quaint hotel. You can really get the feel for how grand this place was in its time. The bed was comfy and the place was quiet. I was disappointed that, for the cost of the room there was no complimentary breakfast. There was coffee served which was much better than average hotel coffee. The... More
