I was recently bringing my sister home to Oklahoma from Rena where she had fallen and broken her leg, She was on oxygen and in a wheelchair. We stopped at the Mizpah and I told the desk clerk Tracey our problem of having so much luggage, equipment, and my sister to move. She was compassionate and so helpful. She immediately... More

I first stayed at the Mizpah Hotel in Tonopah, NV in the late 1980's or early 90's shortly after a major restoration. I was highly impressed with the hotel at the time. I particularly liked the fact that it had huge claw foot tubs with shower capabilities for those of us who prefer this and the fact that although the... More

We just wanted to say we loved our stay. Staff was really friendly and helpful and the food was really good. We will do it again. From the time we called for reservations to the time we left everyone was extremely helpful and informative about the town and how the Hotel got started.

This is a beautiful hotel that has everything....from restaurants to deluxe, relaxing beds that were able to de-stress my body and put me into the greatest sleep that I have had in a very long time. There was so much to do, from ghost towns to visit to the high class lobby bar. You were even able to go hunting... More

I stayed for 1 night on June 21, 2014. The staff was very friendly and check in was fast. I stayed in a King Room on the 5th floor. The room was quite small but clean and comfortable. The only problem was steam from the shower set of the smoke alarm.

We stayed here for one night on August 2nd, 2014. The hotel has been remodeled to it's early 1900's charm, and is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise very limited market. It has the feel of stepping back in time, and the dark woods and red accents in the lobby and bar are a lovely respite from the... More

I cannot comment on the hotel accommodation, they were booked out, but we dined here as recommended by the receptionist at our hotel. Frankly it was the worst meal we have ever had. Certainly was the worst in the USA. We had a home made stew, served in a sour dough bread bowl, the stew was just edible, and tasted as if it... More

wow......We use fresh, wonderful ingredients in all our food. We have the greatest cooks, servers, managers, busboys, and dishwashers on the planet. We think our customers are the best people in the universe, and we want everyone to love their time in Tonopah. We try very hard to be the absolute best even under the severe hardships that being out in the... More

We stopped hear in August on a cross country trip between Las Vegas and Yosemite. It's very nice and has some decent food for both dinner and breakfast. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this to anyone. The Clines of Cline Vineyards have done a wonderful job.

The Mizpah is head and shoulders above the other accommodations in town in terms of style and luxury. That isn't difficult in such a small city; but even in absolute terms we found it a very positive experience, having earlier tried the cinder-block motels that are the alternatives. Our room was large and well furnished, and everything worked as it... More
