Stay at the Mizpah everytime I come home to visit my sister. I've seen the hotel in good times and bad times. The hotel is the best I've ever seen (Grew up in Tonopah). The staff is great and the food is great. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Love the fresh coffee in the morning. Highly recommend staying at the... More

Hotel is old, furnished with antique like furniture. Bed comfortable. Claw foot tub with shower somewhat difficult to manage without getting floor wet- perhaps a shower curtain a bit wider would have helped. Room cozy, bathroom spacious, all clean. Coffee available on each hallway, creamer ran out quickly and not replaced.

Fortune shined on us when we were able to book a room at the Mizpah Hotel. Stepping back into time with exquisite decor and yet still have modern conveniences. What a joy to spend the night in such luxury without putting a major dent in the pocketbook.

As hotels go, the Mizpah is an experience. My room was reasonably small (on 4th floor) but had a great claw foot tub and the most comfortable bed in which I've slept in a long time. Wifi was free but, annoyingly, only allowed one device to be connected at a time - a pain when I have a laptop and... More

First of all - VERY comfortable beds. That's a huge plus in my book. There's slot machines on the first floor and a decent size bar. It is very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are slightly small but they all have a decent size bathroom and closet area. You have enough space to function, though. Parking... More

This turn of the century hotel located in the middle of a small mining town has been completly refurbished and brings one back into the 1930's. The bar, reception area and Victorian rooms are nicely appointed, and the linens are fantastic. Prices are reasonable, the only quality place to stay in a delightful old mining town.

Comfortable bed, nice bar, good food. What more can you ask for? Ghosts??? We didn't see or hear any. Maybe a good thing but a bit disappointed. Parking is very limited. Most of the parkinf is in a dirt lot out back.

Anyone who undertakes a renovation of a historic hotel is taking a huge risk--these buildings bleed money--not just for repairs, but to bring them up to code requirements. Adding to that, the nearest source of building supplies is in Bishop, CA, more than 100 miles west. In most respects, the owners have done an impressive job. The beds are comfortable,... More

After driving through Western Nevada, for what seemed like an eternity, we eventually drove into Tonopah to check into our hotel Saturday On entering we were delighted with its appearance. The bar area looked as if we had walked into a western movie set. And was quite lively. Mizpah is a historic hotel and the interior has been refurbished to... More

Sadly, my husband and I just had our fourth, and I think final, stay at the Mizpah a few weeks ago. Everything just went down hill so fast! When we first visited on Halloween, it was great! They were packed with a band and everyone on the staff was all dressed up. The food was excellent, the server was a... More
