Nothing is wrong with this cute little motel in Tonopah. OK, it is not gorgeous but reasonably clean with hot water shower, walking distance from town centre, just across from a reasonably good mexican food restaurant with good margarita, friendly and helpful staff and very reasonably priced! Good value for money. Budget travellers, let's help small local... More

Wow- I promise the best word to describe this place is 'wow'. When you first walk in you get a feel of nausea, but it passes to more of an exciting serial killer feel with a delightful contrast of a mix between meth lab and sex trade post. This quaint motel has mattresses as old as grandma and grandpa giving... More

Worst motel ever. We came in late and had to take the room. Smells bad, very, very dirty. I' surprised if they have washed the rooms since they buildt the place (probably late'60s) A lot of cracked tiles in the bathroom. Mold. Beds were no good. Two lightbulbs were missing. Refridgerator and micro works. Great aircondition. I'm not the picky... More

The lady at the desk was nice and pointed out a great Chinese Restaurant at the Bank Club. However, DO NOT STAY HERE. The place is old and run down. The bedspread was ancient and looked like it has never seen the inside of washing machine in the past several years, but the sheets underneath looked clean. The mattress was... More

The lady at the desk is helpful and sweet............ but the place is old, very worn and run down. This was the best choice in town for just spending one night after two failed attempts at other places. Our room was clean, had two comfortable chairs and a decent table, a small TV, two comfortable queen size beds and the best WiFi. Coffee and ice are in the office. The shower was good, no shampoo or hair dryer, the toilet... More

The rooms are clean but basic: no fridge, microwave or coffee maker. I paid $38, which might be the cheapest in town. One nice thing is that the motel is a short walk from downtown (two blocks of businesses), including the cafe. TV/cable, coffee in office.

I stayed there overnight because the Clown Motel was full. It cost me $38 for a large room. It was clean and easy to park and management was nice. No problems - not for the luxury set, but ideal for skinflints like me. I would rather give my money to a family run motel than one of the big corporate... More
