Lakeside hotel and casino is a very friendly place. They honor your birthday with coupons for drinks, gambling and dinner. The food is really great in both resturants. Del Sol is above average in every way. They gave me a birthday present of a $200 video poker win whle I was having my free birthday drink! I didn't stay at... More

My husband and I have stayed in hotel for years and took a chance and stayed here. Big mistake! The rooms are dingy, the mattresses are totally uncomfortable, and there is a foul musty odor in the rooms. Plus, the walls are thin so we spend most of the night awake listening to an out of control party next door... More

We stayed here many times in the past and really enjoyed the rooms and casino. We payed over 200.00 for a dark dingy room that had a foul odor. The electrical outlets were so loose that the TV would shut off. There have been absolutely no up keep in the last 20 yrs! We were so disappointed and we will... More

We are disappointed when we hear a guest was not completely satisfied with their stay. In our business, if a guest is not happy, we are not happy. We too are human and make mistakes. Though our rooms are not new, we pride ourselves on their upkeep and cleanliness. We take that very seriously. Our guests are our most valuable... More

My husband and I vacationed here for the third time (from NYC) and really enjoyed ourselves once again. It is a place that locals frequent and we enjoy the low-key atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Can't beat the Timber House restaurant prices - breakfast was great at $4.99. Staff was very accommodating - we had a slight... More

We've been going to Lake Tahoe for years. In fact I lived in Reno, NV for six years and spent a good amount of time on Lake Tahoe's South Shore. I have passed the Lakeside Inn and Casino many times but never stayed there nor even stopped in. That changed on July 20 and 21, 2011 when we stayed there... More

Thanks for your review and the compliments on our hotel and restaurants. It sounds like you are describing us by the old phrase, "you can't judge a book by its cover". That certainly is applicable to us here at Lakeside Inn. First time guests are often pleasantly surprised and continue to stay with us on return trips to Lake Tahoe.... More

Have stayed at this hotel many times in the past 20 yrs and will always come back . The food at the restaurant is excellent, and the rooms are decent. Its no frills, but it serves us well each time. I wouldnt even think of staying at any other hotel in the city.

A motorcycle tour.....we used Lakeside Inn & Casino as our home base for a week of riding the area. Smaller, more intimate and friendly than the big corporate hotel and casinos. The restaurant was nice and the meals were great. We all signed up for the dinner cruise on Lake Tahoe aboard the MS Dixie. We were all pleasantly surprised... More

We spent 3 nights at the Lakeside Inn and it was a delite. The staff was very helpful and the food was good. It was snowing hard but the driveway and lots were kept clean.

I booked a ski package through heavenly's website to stay at this hotel. I gotan awesome deal with four nights accoms and three days skiing for under six hundred dollars! You also get five dollars off per person per day for breakfast. My wife and I were getting a good hot breakfast every morning before skiing for about five dollars.... More
