This hotel is no Chateau Relais but is not a contender for Hotel Impossible either. It was clean and decent for the money. The staff was friendly and attentive. It was clean, which is all one can really expect for $59 per night. My biggest complaint was the walls are super thin, and the bed was very uncomfortable. It is... More

A chateau we are not. We are a hotel that prides itself on providing clean and comfortable rooms at a great price! We appreciate the compliment on our "friendly and attentive" staff, another attribute we are well known for. Please consider us again the next time you are in the neighborhood! More

I've been going to the Lakeside for many years and now come almost every year with my family. The staff is always warm and friendly and we love the low-key atmosphere. The main restaurant is quite nice and breakfasts are always delicious. Though the rooms are usually very clean, on our last visit there were cigarette butts from previous guests... More

The Lakeside Inn has been our go to place to stay in Lake Tahoe for over ten years. The people are friendly, attentive and go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. The remodeling they have done over the past few years has been top rate. The rooms are rustic but very comfortable and that... More

Been to Lakeside Inn several times now. Overall, it's a great place depending on how much you get the room for. if you are paying full price that can be more than $149 than it's not a good value. With Groupon or Living Social Deals or a discount price, then it's great. it's all relative. People working are always friendly... More

They said if we book and stay at their motel we would get a discount. In reality, it was cheaper to book online. The motel smelled of cigarettes. Very disappointed. The restaurant has gone up in price from our previous stay. Overall I feel that with us coming to their motel for a fundraiser event, the motel should of stepped... More

We have been staying here Superbowl weekend for over 15 years. The staff is the best in town. They are almost all the same ones since we have been going there. They all know our names every year we come back. Rooms are always clean. The food in the restaurants are very good. Can't say anything bad about this place.... More

Although the casino needs some updating, the rooms are quite nice and comfy. Their restaurant Timbers is pretty good too. The shower head was not very efficient and a very slow flow which ends up making you use it longer - so I would change that. It would add a nice touch to have real coffee mugs too.

I love staying here! Everyone is so friendly and the local feel, along with affordable rooms and great location make it ideal. My wife and I have been coming here together for years and enjoying our stay every time. Make sure you sign up for a players club card to receive their special offers and stay during your birthday month... More

Thanks for your review and loyalty to Lakeside! Great suggestion to sign up for our Lakeside Card. It truly offers the most value to both players and non-players of any other card in Tahoe. Looking forward to seeing you and your wife soon! More

I enjoyed this place because the rooms are detached from the casino and restaraunt. The rooms were Clean / Quiet with little balconys, close to the lake and still a short walk to the strip. The price point is between 79.00 to 279.00 depending on the day and ocupancy. If you pay less then 129.00 per night, your getting a... More

I have always liked the Lakeside. When my blind/handicap daughter was alive, she was always treated well. My late wife was always treated well as well. I was one of the first to use the poker room when it started. I have made friends with the dealers / slot personal and waitresses. The rooms are great. Since I have moved... More
