Well my husband Chris & I have stayed at the Lakeside several times and have alawys enjoyed it. This time we did have one problem, we had booked one of their Jacuzzi suites, The room was like an ice cicle when I walked in so i went to turn on the heaters and the one in the living room was... more

With its fun casino, small poker tournaments, extremely inexpensive drinks, and friendly staff, the Lakeside Inn is easily the best place to stay in South Tahoe. I'll be going back again for certain. more

The hotel was not as nice as some of the others down the street but for the price it was located in a very close area to some good casinos like Harveys and Harrahs. Lakeside has its own casino but is very small and dark. The bar does have $3.00 drinks but down the street in the bigger casinos as... more

My wife and I were passing through and were looking for reasonably priced room for the night. After calling several of the larger casino-hotels in the area (and getting nightly rate quotes in the $200-300 range), we decided to stop in at the Lakeside Inn. Not a huge fancy place but they were clean and extremely friendly. And we got... more

Ok this was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. They messed up on our room, there was no water pressure, no hot water or even luke warm water, no room service, the beds tore up our backs, and as far as the employees being friendly, I did not have that experience. The employees seemed like they didn't... more

I absolutely LOVE Lakeside! I used to frequent the larger hotels in Vegas and Atlantic City, and I'll take Lakeside over them anytime! I've been travelling from the midwest about 4 times a year for the past 10 years or so just to stay/play there. You can't find a more friendly caring staff anywhere, and the locals who play there... more

The room was great and they were helpful by phone BEFORE we got there. The food was also excellent. The front desk was off and on---sometimes downright rude! I'm still getting misc. charges and overcharges and having to straighten them out---check your credit card statement and keep your receipt. For the money and locale (and discounts on Tahoe stuff) it... more

This was the second time at the Lakeside for me. I stayed there in 2006 with my sister, and we loved it so much that when my family went to Tahoe this year, there was no question that we would stay there again. The casino is separate from the hotel, which is not "lakeside" at all. It is a motel... more

Went on a ski trip to Heavenly, and stayed at the Lakeside Inn and Casino. The accommodations were what was expected for the the hotel rating, and price. The location is good, a short shuttle ride to the Gondola, or on the route of many other resort buses. The staff was very friendly, and our room included breakfast which was... more
