The Timber House restaurant food is amazing. My party of eight was quickly seated and served. Everyone raved about the food and there were no complaints except for one steak which not served at the temperature requested. It was promptly corrected. I honestly expected less given the price for the steak and lobster special @ $14.95.

We chose this hotel because it is not so big and overwhelming as some of the hotels in stateline. It has a western motif throughout. The rooms are clean and adequate. My husband liked the lighting. Don't take room 150. There is an electrical box adjacent to the room which emits a humming sound. It kept my husband up all... More

We were drawn in for the $17.99 special which I got. My spouse got the $34.95 Prime Rib dinner which was fantastic! We both loved the food and service. We went back two nights later and got the same thing. They do a great job at their restaurant.

Stopped in here for a quick drink and found this a nice alternative to the big stuffy crowded casinos at state line. Would check this place out if you are looking for something different. Acceptable pricing and the drinks were OK.

The most famous surf and turf special in Tahoe apparently. It's in all the guidebooks and on signs --even in ads on their slot machines. But not on the menu. We didn't know that until a rather portly diner who was leaving pulled us aside and told us as we were waiting to be seated. "It's the best you'll ever... More

This is a great alternative to the expensive hotels and lodges located closer or on the Ski Lifts. You're a block or two away from where the action is, Harrahs, Harveys, Montbleu, and Horizon are less than 3 stoplights away. Rooms are spacious, cozy, and warm. I went here for snowboarding and I LOVE how they use a Tankless Water... More

Great restaurant and Casino games, video poker was fun and I won enough to get one of the best prime rib diners ever... I was not staying here because of a timeshare on the ridge which was just up the hill from the casino. I even have a souvenir of the rewards card with my photo on it. If you... More

Last year they rented the big room we requested months in advance to someone else so we had a small room. This year the second night we were here the roof in our room was leaking so we had to pack everything up and move into another room. Perhaps it's time to find a new place to stay.

My husband and I stayed at the Lakeside Inn for one night for an event we were attending in Lake Tahoe. This is more of a motel than the usual casino hotel. Room was clean and sufficiently comfortable for a short stay. Bed is comfortable. Decor is rustic, a little dated, but not bad. There wasn't much room to unpack,... More

A friend and I stayed at the Lakeside Inn for one night before participating in a nearby trail race. We arrived early in the morning, around 2am or 3am, so we didn't have the room for long, but did manage a few hours of sleep. We checked in quickly and the man at the desk directed us to our room...
