We went for our 25th wedding anniversary to see the Eagles play at Harvey's and stayed here because it was convenient and had decent reviews. Our room was 305, it sucked. When I called to see about getting moved, they did not have anything to move us to other than smoking or two queen beds so we stayed. It was... More

In the past we have stayed in the lowest price rooms and sometimes have been disappointed in the cleanliness and decor. This time we applied for an upgrade on a space available basis at the time of booking. The upgraded room was quiet, on a high floor, very clean, and free of the musty odor we have encountered on past... More

Harrah's in my humble opinion is probably the best of the South Lake Tahoe casinos. If in the area, we usually see what music group is playing in their show room theater. The theater is a good place to see a concert. We also like some of their restaurants at the casino. In terms of gambling, they have a good... More

This hotel is situated on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe, and together with two others nearby is built and works like a Las Vegas hotel-casino: a big square building full of slot machines. My opinion is that all three should be razed to the ground, and something nicer to the eye should be built. The inside of the hotel... More

Rooms are very spacious, and two bathrooms in each room is awesome. Also walk-in closet. Rooms are somewhat dated, but well maintained. Valet, bellmen, housekeeping, and front desk all did a very nice job.

First the people at Diamond check-in are fantastic.Andrea Killebrew (host), Cymon Whalin, Frank Greco Guest Satisfaction),Joe Antonino,Linda, and Teal always try to help, and get the room you want. Mary, and Amy (title unknown, but head of VIP Check in) was able to find my wife and I the room that we liked, even though the resort was almost full because... More

Stayed in an Executive 2-queen, non-smoking room with 2 friends. Choose this hotel primarily for its proximity to Heavenly Mountain (within walking distance to gondola) and gaming options when not on the slopes. The property itself is nothing spectacular, no special theme, just your typical hotel/casino. Common areas are clean and appear well-maintained. All staff encountered were polite and friendly.... This hotel/casino has gone downhill. The food is mediocre at best and the service staff have a real attitude problem. The ventilation system does not take out the cigarette smoke in the casino so unless you want to smell like a pack of Marlboro's do not gamble. The rooms are nice and clean. If you need to gamble and want... More

Harrah's & Harvey's Lake Tahoe, are two of the best Hotel, Casino's in Lake Tahoe. They are a lot of fun because the staff is always so gracious and willing to help whatever you need. The room are lovely and overlook the Lake. The Restaurants are always good and pleniful. My Husband likes the Race & Sports Book at Harvey's.... More

We stayed here 2 nights in August. We had an executive king room with windows that opened - great for smokers - with a view of the lake. It was a very nice room. No problems there. The hotel has some special ozone machine that cleans the air to get rid of the smoke from smokers. Does a FABULOUS job... More
