We stayed here for one night in September 2011. The place was pretty much only okay. Overall, it seems a bit run down and it's definitely missing some essentials while having other random things that just aren't needed. We tried to check in around 2:30 but our room wasn't ready yet. (Check in time is 4 pm.) We had tried... More

I was invited to this hotel for work purposes. I allocated the premises for over 2 weeks. I have to say it’s the most beautiful place I have ever been to in my life. the hotel is perfectly positioned right across Lake Tahoe. The top floors have a restaurant with a view of the mountains. The casino is new, its... More

Others have written about the $10.95 charge for wifi. Most every hotel in the country provides a small coffee pot to have an early cup in the room before getting dressed Harrah's here has a new twist. . there is a high end Keurig single cup coffee maker but you have to purchase four insert cups for $6 from the... Although my husband and I are "Harrah's people", this was our first time at Tahoe. Our room was beautiful. I love the 2 bathrooms with walk in closet. The room was spacious with a nice sitting area. We had a partial view of the lake and the golf course. The steak house on the top floor is probably the best... More

Granted I have not been to Tahoe that much. But this hotel looks a couple of notches better than the other ones nearby as for as the hotel lobby and casino. It does show its age though; maybe nearing time for some renovation. This was one of the more expensive rooms for casino hotels. No in-room coffee and not much... More

Harrah's Lake Tahoe had it's pluses and minuses. We're casino people, so we've been to a quite a few casino resorts to compare. Harrah's gave us a good rate, so I can't really complain. The lobby was nice with a nice selection of stores (and a Starbucks) for a smallish casino. I bought a great watch in one of the... More

This was my first hotel room with two baths and a walk-in closet. Each bath had a little TV. Wow. What a huge room. It also had a large sitting area. There was a Keurig coffeemaker with no coffee. You had to go to reception and buy the little coffee packs, so bring your own if you want coffee in... More

Stayed just one night at Harrah's. Enjoyed the casino, the room was nice - a little strange to have 2 full bathrooms in a hotel room. The TV in the bathroom was pretty 1980's - but overall, it was a nice place to stay, conveniently located with a great view.

It supposed to be a luxury Hotel but they charge you for Wifi and lot small items. I believe they attempted to rip you off with this and after you with a lot usually free items. Their so called business center charge a min of $10.00 for 10 minutes of internet use and $3.00 for a colored print and $1.5... More

I recently stayed at Harra's Lake Tahoe for Four nights. Upon arriving, check-in was hassle free and there was no waiting. The room I requested was ready for me and I found nothing wrong with the room. The room was clean and so were both bathrooms as well. Each day the cleaning service performed their jobs and I came back... More
