Overall, we had a wonderful time here. Although some of the amenities are a wee bit on the dated side, we were able to secure a nice giant room with 2 bathrooms for a sweet deal of a price. I actually had to stay in the room quite a bit as I was dividing my time between work and play.... more

We got married at Emerald Bay September 22nd. When we made the reservation on-line we mentioned that we would be staying at Harrah's for our honeymoon and would like to have a room above the 7th floor, since others have mentioned those floors had the best views. Imagine our surprise when we checked in and were told they had upgraded... more

My wife and I stayed here in Oct 09. Lovely very large room given to us on the west side with great views of the mountains and Lake Tahoe. TV in both bathrooms!! Very comfortable seating to lounge on in bedroom area. Very good restaurant down in the basement which sounds terrible but is not,..as developed with a theme (river... more

Wow! What an amazing view from the room!..one window looked out on Lake Tahoe and another looked up to mountains..a true visual feast! I think I struck gold with the room...great price..4 toilets, TV in the bathroom..shower (big enough to throw a party in!), jaccuzzi (equally huge!). We were there in the summer and I spent an afternoon sunbathing..then we... more

On the plus side....the location is great. Shops, restaurants, casino's, the gondola, etc. just a short walk. Extremely large rooms with a nice view (depends on your choice of room type). Double bathrooms were a plus. And the special rates were absolutely the best in the area for a stay during the week. On the down side...the noise from the... more

We stayed two nights with our 10 year old Grandson. Tahoe is definately not Vegas, but we loved it! It's so beautiful. Great if you want to do more than drink and gamble. We stayed in an executive room that was very clean and beautiful. Two bathrooms made it perfect - the guys got one, and I got the other!... more

The room was very nice, clean and big. We were on the 11th floor with a view over Lake Tahoe that was a real treat. Price for the room was cheap for what you got, BUT dinner and breakfast was very expensive. We were not aware of the fact that this was a casino hotel so we were a bit... more

I was impressed with the registration desk. I booked two nights but had to cut it to just one night while I was their due to a change in plans. They said "no problem" and I didn't get stuck with the extra night or surcharged for changing my plans last minute. The room I had was very nice, 2 bathrooms... more

We booked weeks in advance with the request of a non-smoke room. Guess what? We got a smoking room, and it stunk! They offered an ozone machine to neutralize the air but we had to leave the room for several hours (we really needed a rest from the drive up but that wasn't an option). When we returned several hours... more
