Wow! What an amazing view from the room!..one window looked out on Lake Tahoe and another looked up to mountains..a true visual feast! On the plus side....the location is great. Shops, restaurants, casino's, the gondola, etc. just a short walk. Extremely large rooms with a nice view (depends on your choice of room type). We stayed two nights with our 10 year old Grandson. Tahoe is definately not Vegas, but we loved it! It's so beautiful. Great if you want to do more than drink and gamble. I was impressed with the registration desk. I booked two nights but had to cut it to just one night while I was their due to a change in plans. We booked weeks in advance with the request of a non-smoke room. Guess what? We got a smoking room, and it stunk! They offered an ozone machine to neutralize the air but we had to leave the room for several hours (we really needed a rest from the drive up but that wasn't an option).
