I've worked and stayed in some of the best hotels and resorts in the United States, and I have to say that the Ridge Pointe Resorts at Lake Tahoe ranks among the top few on my list! For starters, it's a gorgeous property. I travel with my family, so their 2 bedroom units fit the bill perfectly! But, physical amenities... More

Stayed at the Pointe 6/7-14/2014. The building is nice, could use some updating. The unit was immaculately clean with a great view. Our stay was comfortable, but we probably won't return for a few reasons. This building is part of a larger resort. This building is considered to be "off site" and is isolated from the main resort. If you... More

The unit at the point was great, modern, the view outside was incredible. I had two problems tho. I stayed at the Point, and the way the set up is, you have a common door that you share with another unit, that lets you into the common space, before you can enter your own unit. Well on this particular night,... More

Even though we were expecting a nightmarish of a check in at the Point Ridge (as we had read the reviews of lack of a physical office on the premises), we were pleasantly surprised as to how quick and simple the whole thing was!!! Common areas were clean. The unit itself was nice and our week's stay was very enjoyable!!!... More

This is our 2nd time staying at this resort. The first time was at the Terrace (with the Plaza parking structure) which was hot. This time, the Pointe was pleasant, despite the same temperature outside. So, circulation is better at the Pointe. We also bought fans just in case, but did not use them. Both the king and sofa beds... More

My elderly Mother and I had to leave because it was 80 degrees all night and no way to cool down. There was no air circulation or air conditioning. The one window (that we kept open all night) had people walking by and looked out onto the road. When I asked the hotel staff what could be done, they said,... More

I really enjoyed our stay here. I have stayed in the main resort buildings near the clubhouse before, but never at the Pointe. I actually found The Ridge Pointe to be somewhat cleaner and quieter than the other resort buildings. My biggest complaint with the Pointe is the check-in process. We arrived at around 5:00 PM. There are maybe 10... More

This is the first time I've ever left a bad review but I felt I had to warn people so they don't waste their money. Basically there is no air conditioning so if its warm weather the rooms are stiflingly hot. I paid for three nights but had to leave after one losing my money as I had booked through... More

I would not recommend this hotel suite. They left a nail on the floor and I stepped on it. When I called the front desk, they just ignored me. Getting someone at the office also was really hard. Everything was locked and I had to go to the main office which was miles away just to check in. I booked... More

I stayed in a 2-bedroom condo through an Interval International exchange. This was my first trip to Lake Tahoe, and this resort is in an excellent location for day trips throughout the area. The condo was spacious, clean, and the kitchen was very well-equipped. Grocery stores are nearby. I would definitely stay here again.
