We'll maintained older hotel that is good value. Even the mountain rooms have some lake view. The staff is well trained and courteous. Rooms are OK, a little worn, but for the value, who cares? Restaurants are nice, the casino is small but friendly. The hotel is on the California/Nevada border and thus has easy access to all of the... More

I reserved a room though Total Rewards. They gave me a partial lake view for a really cheap price. The room was nicer than any I've had except at Harrahs's. And I've had lesser rooms at Harrah;s. Maybe the young lady who checked me in liked me. Mabye it was a slow night. Who knows? But I do know that... More

Descent hotel But no refrigerator or coffee in the room. $20 per day resort fee to use the fitness center and $12.99 for SLOW internet for one device plus taxes. Coffee in the lobby very expensive. My friend was attending a veterans reunion and he booked a couple months a head by phone. A young couple in the lobby booked... More

We stayed at Harveys Lake Tahoe for a couple of nights in September. On our drive up, we were treated to seeing a blanketing of snow on the summit due to a rather early storm the previous day....but all was clear in South Lake Tahoe. I haven't stayed at Harveys in years but was happy enough with it then, so... More

Nothing fancy but well worth the cost.Walls are thin ;( Service was very prompt and courteous. Especially the valets which you end up using since parking garage is not convenient. Location of hotel was excellent,. connected to Harrahs by tunnel.

My friend and I enjoyed 3 great nights at Harrah's. On Saturday we switched to Harvey's for our last night. When I went to check in at Harvey's the girl needed to get her supervisor to ok the credit card for the room because the name did not match my Drivers license. My bank accounts and credit cards have always... More

The fixtures seem somewhat dated, but overall the room is good sized and clean. The bathroom has 3 separate rooms (Toilet, shower/tub/vanity, vanity/closed) which would be convenient for a group sharing a room. Windows stick out a bit so there is a good view, 1 small pane opens. The parking garage is a bit inconvenient, with no direct access from... More

I come stay at Harveys several times a year. It's no Taj Mahal, but it is a quite nice hotel and casino. Harveys is owned by the neighboring Harrahs Casino as well. In fact they are connected by an underground tunnel that runs under the street. Both are nice, Harrahs a little nicer actually. Service is always good, not spectacular,... More

I was nervous about staying here after reading some unflattering reviews. The place was packed when we arrived,a lady in the concierge waited on me to ease the front desk crowd and got us a great room on the 17th floor over looking the lake. it was worth 200 dollars although it cost only 85 per night . The room was... More

Tahoe is beautiful. Harveys check in was not. The 1st desk clerk was a total rude and snobby individual. She actually was snide to my 90 yr old mother. She said she could not help us for an hour. I went to the other clerk and she was very helpful no waiting. Our room was terrible but when our luggage... More
