I got this hotel off of hotwire,i and when I saw it was a casino and I don't gamble it didn't excite me. Once I got there I must say I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the room, and the amenities it offered. We were given a room on the 11th floor that overlooked... More

We stayed at Harvey's for 2 nights and arranged an upgrade to a suite with an unbelievable panoramic view of the lake and mountains. The staff was very helpful and attentive whenever we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again. It was a great getaway for a few days with lots to do in the area.

Just retyrned for a six night stay and was sure disappointed. I have been going to Tahoe for years, so I know what to expect. Things are older there, and this resort is no exeption, but we were treated like nobody cared about customer service. My problems were as follows, and keep in mind we are talking an average rate... My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. Our purpose of the trip was to see Sugarland in concert here, and they did not disappoint. The hotel was great, we stayed in a one bedroom suite, very nice. We didn't do much gambling, but enjoyed walking around the casino watching everyone else. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Don't let the pictures fool you... this place is a dump. It reminds me of Old Vegas or a cheap Reno. I paid $250/nt for this hotel thinking it was of a 4-star (per Expedia, Travelocity, etc) caliber... it was more like a 2-star full of 75 yr old grandmas and 21 year-old idiots. If you are looking for other... More

I booked the "classic room" with some fear based on the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised! Room was large and the bed very comfy. Yes, the TV is the old style but it worked fine and had many cable channels. It was the cheapest room available and I would highly recommend saving the money on anything better. This room is... More

Been staying at Harvey's for years. The quality of service has greatly diminished since Harrah's took over. It is still a great place to stay just was once much better. They simply ignore requests and preferences on the hotel rooms.

Spent 2 days , one night at Lake Tahoe. Checked a few places, Harvery's was reasonable, and we were upgraded at no charge to a lake view room. Very nice room, and bath, Great view! Did not gamble there. Would stay again.
