Pros - Harveys is in a very good or excellent location. Clean and good room. Had a very nice view of the South Lake Tahoe and the south lake from the 11th floor. The rate was very good. Staff was very good to excellent. Housekeeping is very good and responsive. Bathrooms are very clean and nicely laid out. I would... More

Several of us went to Napa Valley and at the end of the trip, a friend and I drove to Lake Tahoe and stayed at Harvey's for two nights. It was my first and last time to go to Lake Tahoe. It is just too far for what you get. I'm not a skier so there will be no need... More

I visited Tahoe with my girlfriend for a wedding (shout out to Mikala M., fellow Yelper). The entire group, pretty much, booked Room's at Harvey's. I was looking forward to it because I had heard great things about Tahoe and this was our first trip there. On our way there, from San Francisco, we called to ask about the accommodations.... More

We stayed at Harvey's because my husband plays in the WSOP tournament there every year. We also stay there every summer for a little get away. It has always been decent; convenient location and clean rooms. HOWEVER, this last stay was a nightmare. After staying 3 nights, with our truck parked in valet parking, we headed home, but on the... This hotel is within a 5 minute walk to Heavenly. So convenient for ski/snowboarding all day and gambling all night (with a nap in between) The rooms are a nice size, but very outdated. The hotel is connected via underground tunnel to the Harrah's so there are many restaurant options from both hotels. It is an hour and a half... More

Harvey's is a nice casino hotel in South Lake Tahoe, When we visited, there was a very popular poker tournament going on., Beyond that, the place was pretty quiet as it was early November. This is "low" season for Tahoe as its after the summer lake season and before the ski season. Service was still quite nice. We went to... More

I made reservations in advance for a King Bed with a River View. When I arrived we were told they were sold out of King Beds and gave us 2 queen beds. What about my reservations??? They said they always over sell. Then whey bother making reservations in advance if you're just going to be put into some lottery for... More

Great location with great views, but somewhat out dated decor. Slots are tight and did not see any hand payouts in 5 days. Sage Steak House was fair with terrible service, the meal was comped, but won't dine there again.

The check in experience was the worst I have seen in years. There were 10 people in line and only one agent. Stood in line for 20 minutes and went no where. Not until we went to the Bell desk and asked why there was not another person coming from the back to help did something finally happen. Have no... More
