As far as hotel rooms go in a older hotels/casino I was just hoping it was nice. We stayed in room 534 nothing special king deluxe suite. I was very surprised how nice the room was. Clean...updated...quite... no view but we didn't pay for that. Room service and menu A+. I will stay here again.

Nice architecture for a high rise. Different games ; had. "Rock around the Clock". Wife won $200.00 . Nice drink service . We didn't stay as we had a house we had rented but stayed Sun June 29 at sister property Harrah's. Our teen grandkids got to play video games on huge floor dedicated to kids. In Vegas I wouldn't... We checked in very late after flying into Reno from the east coast. We stopped in Virginia city and Carson city before arriving at the hotel. Was leery of room bc we were told had only slight view but upon entering we were pleasantly surprised. We were in 1049 and had a mini suite which was extremely comfortable. I actually... More

My wife and I booked a room at Harvey's to view the fireworks; however, we did not see them very well. I specifically booked the 18th floor, facing the lake to get a great view of the event. When we checked in, our room had a partial view of the lake and a partial view of the mountains. I complained... More

We stayed this weekend with some other family members and had a great time. The hotel is fine and they seem to have a good system for removing smoke in the casino. Being a non smoker it is nice not to have to sit in a smoke filled room. Our room was nice and had a nice view of the... More

Resort fees. I hate them. They are just a means to make the price appear more competitive, and have nothing to do with being a resort. Yes I know they are virtually ubiquitous, but they are only going to go away if people keep complaining (this is what forced the government to make airlines disclose all fees upfront). Harvey’s daily... More

I had my wedding ceremony at the Chapel at Harvey's and my reception in the Tallac room on June 21st. It was absolutely perfect. We live in Oregon so we did all planning over the internet, Scott was wonderful and helped make our big day exactly how we wanted it. The food was amazing, the DJ (Bart Libby) was great... More

Ok I'm going to do my best to keep this short! On our way to Oregon (driving, from Arizona). Priceline'd this alleged "4 Star" rated hotel. We were awarded Harvey's Lake Tahoe for a price of $66.36 plus a $20.00 "resort" fee to use the pool, workout room and to have access to free internet for only ONE device. So... More

After a while, most casino hotels melt into one - including this one. BUT! Given some of the other options - that's OK. Large room, great bathroom. They let me check in 30 minutes early. Nothing to complain about. It's good - just not great. REMEMBER: they'll add on that "resort fee" which I have yet to figure out what... More

Was booked to stay at the end of March for a quick 2-day ski trip with my son. During the first day skiing received a call of a family emergency that required us to leave. We left the slopes, packed, and checked out (a day early), During the checkout process the clerk (who was very nice) asked if everything was... More
