We stayed at Montbleu as part of a time share promotion with Wydam resorts so our rate was only $90 for all three nights.Otherwise our room rate would have been about $180 per night. We had a nice room on the 9th floor, no great view however, there was a whirlpool tub in the room. We were able to buy... More

First of all, the person at the front desk was rude and not helpfull. After I used my debit card to pay for the room, I was informed that my card would also be charged a $10.00 fee as a deposit in case I ordered room service, movies, or had something charged to the room. After checkout I drove home... More

Stayed at MontBleu for 2 nights. The girl at the front desk was pleasant enough upon check-in. The problem was the rooms. The first room we went to had multiple dark stains on the carpet, dirty floors in the bathroom and a foul odor. When I called the front dest to request another room - I was told there was... More

After seeing the updated lobby of Montbleu, I was expecting the same cool, retro update in the rooms. At the price (average $200+/night) in South Lake Tahoe, I was also expecting a lot. What I found were old, outdated, and crummy rooms. If you do book here, request a room over the 24th floor and without an adjoining room, as... More

My husband and I stayed at the MontBleu three nights last week, and were very disappointed, both in the room and in the service. I think we were MOST disappointed at the service, because we truly were treated as though our concerns were unimportant and as though we were an irritant, and how dare we complain. The lobby looks fine,... More

This hotel used to be Caesar's Tahoe, and they haven't completed remodeling yet. Our room was on the top floor. Room was nice sized and had a beautiful view of the lake. There was a big whirlpool tub inside the room, and the actual bathroom was very spacious. The bed was fabulous. The room did need updating, however. Wallpaper was... More

The lobby looks fantastic. It looks hip and modern. This used to be a Caesar's hotel which explains why when you go up to the rooms everything looks roman. The rooms are dated but they're ok. Spacious bathrooms, weird tubs but they had great water pressure. Our bathroom had a toilet that kept running but when you called for help... More

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel as part of a package online after reading very mixed reviews. We were not expecting a lot after reading lots of negative comments and complaints about various aspects of the hotel. We were however, very impressed with the hotel and the service we received throughout our 4 night stay. Although arriving at approximately... More

I stayed at the MontBleu 2 nights (Fri and Sat) night. This resort was great! Overall I loved it and would recommend it to other people.. Room: We stayed in a spa suite and it was great. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were big and fluffy. The bathroom was large and had a Jacuzzi tub which I... More

This place is not worth over $100 a night. The rooms are broken down. Lights don't work, sinks do not drain and hair dryers are broken. The cleaning staff left trash in the room as if it was not part of the job to throw out empty gatarade bottles. The re-do of the old Ceasars is a joke. They re-did... More
