I was excited when we checked in to the MontBleu, because the lobby and casino looked great. Going up to our room is another story. The room was dingy and the maid service had not kept up with cleaning the room (floor, carpet, etc..). The tub/shower, which maybe romantic for some, was a pain to climb in and out of,... More

First off I thought for the most part the MontBleu was a good hotel. The spa was amazing, the pool was great, the casino was fun and the dining choices were great too. Our room (805) was dirty and dingy. You can tell they brought new and updated furniture into old rooms, which I have no problem with, but a... More

Well, we had no idea where to stay in lake tahoe until our bid $70 bid was accepted by priceline. Plus tax and everything it was around $87. Since I am not there stay to gamble so I will only talk my impression on the hotel itself. The check in was extremely slow partly due to I bid the hotel... More

We had read some of the negative reviews but decided to give the resort a try anyways. We were more than a little surprised when we pulled up. For a moment, I thought we'd arrived at a Detroit Econolodge. The outside looked extremely dilapidated compared to the nearby Harrah's. To further worsen matters, I believe that they had some kind... During the past two years, I have stayed at the MontBleu about five times. My most recent stay in May 2008 will be my last. Upon checking into the room, we found there was no couch or chair in the room, so the room appeared to be half empty. We then found that the bath tub was not the large... More

I recently stayed at the Mont Bleu Resort (formally Caesar's) at Lake Tahoe for a three-day conference. The fourth floor room had a view of the Horizon Casino and a partial view of Lake Tahoe. The room was large with two queen beds and a hugh bathroom/dressing room with a double-sized jetted tub. There were some minor signs of wear... More

I canceled my reservation a week before my arrival and was given a confirmation number, but did not receive their email confirming my cancellation. A month later, my credit card bill showed that I was charged for the first night., so I called the hotel to inquire about the charge but they could not find any record on my cancellation... More

We stayed here for a $99- premium room. It was clean- large and well decorated. Lots of pillows on bed- free water bottles in room. Casino was just -okay. Check in was a little slow- but we were early. It is on the wrong side of the strip for a really good lake view- but all in all a good... More

This was a great hotel casino in South Lake Tahoe. The newer and more chic sister hotel of Horizon (across the street). There are 4 restaurants in the hotel (American diner-type, steakhouse, Mexican and a buffet). In addition to your room cost you pay a small fee for access to the indoor pool (has a small grotto-like hot tub and... More

I've stayed at many hotels here from the dingy (sub-motel6 level) to Harrahs. We booked a regular room on hotwire. It came with a HUGE bath, separated toilet, and a uniquely soft bed. We had a view of Horizons across the street and partial lake view. Wireless Internet was sufficient and under $10 for 24 hours. The room didn't come... More
