This was horrible!! Worst rooms I have ever seen. There was mold in the shower, the towel rack was falling off, the carpet was littered with used toothpicks, the vents were full of dust and dirt, and worse of all the operator snapped at my wife when she asked for help making a call.... I would never book a room... more

This is a comment on both the Montbleu Resort- Spa-Casino and Priceline "name a price". We went to Priceline to find a 3 1/2 star rated accomodations and named a price..our price was accepted at Montbleu at $90 a night. When we arrived, we were given a room that was "premium", but checking the website, we were actually given a... more

Stayed one night in a King room. Even though I made reservations through Priceline we ended up on the 16th Floor of the 17 floor hotel with nothing less than a spectacular view of the lake and mountains all the way to the north shore. Yes, the rooms are stuck in the 80's. The crown molding and base boards are... more

My husband and I recently stayed at this property.. we have stayed there before under different ownership and it is fine, clean, helpful staff the usual for Lake Tahoe... As we were walking to the elevator in the morning we saw the housekeeping staff getting started for the day no problem... But we observed a housekeeper folding towels ON THE... more

Worst choice I made on this trip was picking the MontBleu over any other casino hotel in town. I guess I should've known better when I tried contacting the conceirge a week in advance of our trip by both e-mail and telephone to NEVER have any of my messages returned. When we arrived on a Thursday for our weekend stay... more

My husband and I spent a few nights here as the event we were in town for was held near this hotel. The hotel is pretty cheesy. They even have a lingerie / sex shop right near the elevators. The room they put us in was very spacious and a huge bathroom with granite countertops, two sinks and ample counter... more

I recently stayed here for a long weekend and the room was spacious and very comfortable. The jacuzzi bath in the room was great after hours of hiking through the mountains. The room had a great view and was very clean. The health spa was free(most hotels charge now} and had all the weight lifting equipment I needed to get... more

I read the reviews before booking this place amd most of them were right on, with some that seemed to have too high expectations. It seems as though Montbleu renovated the main level (front, spa, casino...) and maybe even the suites, but didn't spend the tons of $$$ to do every room. The rooms are still decent. Yes, they have... more

We booked 2 rooms at the Mont Bleu last week and were pleasantly surprised by everything we encountered. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (they carried out our requests without having to be asked twice) and the rooms were very nice and roomy. We even had a relaxing bath in the jacuzzi tub before winning in the casino. We... more

My husband and I love this hotel and stay here every winter for his birthday. The location is perfect, walking distance to the other hotels and casinos, close to heavenly and other ski resorts, also close to lake, stores and restaurants. We enjoy the casino, its clean never too crowded, good service and good crowd. Inside the hotel you will... more
