We usually stay at Montbleu when in South Lake Tahoe because of its convenient location and affordable price in comparison to the other big resorts. The casino is nice, the restaurants are good and the service is always outstanding. Even though there were glitches because of an area-wide power outage due to a thunderstorm, the hotel tried to make up... More

Rooms are good size. We got an upgrade to a premium room. It had a jacuzzi in the room... By the bed :) Beddings are great. Pillows and duvets are so comfy. We got a non smoking room and there is no hint of smoke. But at the casino, definitely smoky but that's expected. The only downside in the room... More

Just returned from 2 nights at the Mont Bleu. The location of this hotel/casino is great, close to everything we needed. The casino itself is fine, restaurants are good. Also has a few gift shops, cigar shop and coffee shop that are all convenient. Where this hotel/casino needs some serious upgrades are their rooms. Rooms are showing lots of wear,... More

The other reviews were accurate. This place is dirty and dated. The Tribal casinos have taken a bite out of the casino vacation dollars in Reno/Tahoe. But, I would hope that if the owners/management can't afford a remodel at least do a heavy clean of the rooms and some basic maintenance. Asked for a quiet room. Got a room next... More

The location is everything in a hotel and this hotel has that... Great location, accessibility to great spots in and around Lake Tahoe, but the room are in serious need of an upgrade. The rooms need to be more modern with amenities that people look for in a casino property these days. The front desk is helpful. We had some... More

My husband and I have stayed here several times. Our stays are always comfortable and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are always clean. Like some of the other reviewers wrote, my only complaint would be it needs a little updating. It looks like they kept the original decor from when... More

Great location, in the middle of fun nightlife and good restaurants. The room is terrible, walls are paper thin. Woke up any time anyone next door or in the hallway were talking. TV sound didn't work. Bathroom is so outdated! Shower is very old and dirty and wouldn't drain. Very expensive for a night of no sleep. Disappointing.

We stayed here for two nights and love the location. A short walk from Heavenly. Parking is easily accessible. Our bed was comfy, but the room looks like it was stuck in the 1980's. Brass fixtures, antiquated circular shower (gross shower curtain) and wallpaper peeling from sections of the wall. The room itself was clean. We stayed on the 5th... More

It was my husband and mine's birthdays so we decided to treat ourselves to a weekend and I hate to say that I was quite disappointed. The room was $250.00 a night, so I expected a cleaner, fresher room than what we received. The bathroom sink was clogged so my husband picked up the plunger (which was broken) and it... More

Stayed here over the weekend (Fri thru Sun) and have to say it was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in while visiting Lake Tahoe. The carpet was stained, the bathroom had leaking faucet knobs so water was leaking all over the counter. We were a party of 4 and they only had 3 sets of bath towels. I asked... More
