I stayed at the Montleu because I was traveling to South Lake Tahoe for an athletic event and it was a convenient place to stay. I was with a few other 40s & 50s year-old friends, and we booked several rooms. My participation in the event was ending mid-day the following day, and I wanted to take a shower before... More

I have never been to the MontBleu Resort but I have heard of it. My boyfriend and I went for our 6th month anniversary and he went all out for it. We stayed last Saturday (9/13) for 1 night. Coming into the casino I was very pleasantly surprised on the look and interior of the resort. Check-in was a breeze,... More

We stayed MontBleu at the end of Auguest and it was clean and comfortable. While searching the hotel, there are many bad reviews toward this one. However, $89 per night with $10 daily fee comparing with the other $189 per night with $20 daily fee, we dedcided to give a try. We are very happy about our choice. It is... More

MontBleu is my favorite place to stay in the South Lake Tahoe Area. You get the benefit of being in Nevada with close proximity of the shopping areas in California. It's a short walk up the road to Heavenly Village. Rooms are spacious and large and the jetted oversized tub is always a welcome treat to enjoy after a day... More

We stayed here in July and loved every moment of it. The staff were helpful and the place was clean. our room was on the eighth floor and had a great view of the lake. Also, the Concierge (spelling?) had some great ideas for up to try. We ended up dining on the Tahoe Queen paddle wheel cruise

Stains all over carpet, bed skirt, dirty, and beat to hell furniture. I demanded an upgrade with conditions at my standards and got it but how dare they even book rooms in such horrid condition. Pool was nice.

We originally had plans to stay at another "motel type place" in the area, however the other "motel" was deplorable and just gross. We were desperate and decided to drive around to find another place to stay for the weekend. We ended up at the Montbleu. We went inside and begged for a room as this was Labor day weekend... More

So let me start with- if you love the Wynn or Bellagio or Venetian even, then this place is NOT for you. We came up for the night and Eagles concert across the street and was very disappointed. The hotel is very outdated. Our room was crazy expensive, and although it was a suite, it was sadly run down. I... More

South Lake Tahoe mid-range rooms are tricky. They all kind of look the same. Your standard rooms always are nice, but you never get the warm and fuzzy with them...I have mixed feelings about this property. First off, the lobby is very chic and they try and pull off the boutiqueish, poshy look. This is where they got me! They've... More

My parents had stayed here earlier this year and liked it, so I booked it and then was scared because of all of the negative reviews. ...Our room was great! It was clean, huge bathroom, great beds... The pool was really nice and my kids loved it. We didn't gamble, and didn't eat there, so I can't comment on those... More
