We wanted to have a quick getaway for the Memorial Day weekend, so 3 days before we realize we needed a room in Tahoe. Found out this hotel, with decent reviews which was very affordable for that weekend. The hotel was very easy to reach, as it was right on the highway, and has plenty of open parking and free... The last time I stayed here was six years ago, so I was curious how the hotel was now before going on my second leg of my trip to the Grand Sierra Resort. I arrived to check-in fairly early around 1:00pm on 5/19 and it only took no longer than 10 minutes to check-in. The Front Desk agent was very... More

Nice resort. Minute I entered the lobby, just wanted to run out of the place.. Smoking smell entire lobby and elevators. Took 25 minutes for only 1 attendant to locate reservation in system and assign room. Asked for lake view room, But room had slight glance of room. Room design was very good, with shower place covered by thick glasses... More

While reading reviews for this trip, the reviews for this hotel were mixed. I decided to give it a try since the price was right and I am very happy I did! We stayed in the least expensive room - I think it was called the "spa" room on the 3rd floor. We didn't have a great view but we... More

We stayed for 2 nights. It was formerly Caesar's Palace. The rooms were nice. It had a large circular tub/shower and a comfortable bed. We got a deal at $49 per night. The pool area is great. The only thing negative I have to say goes for all casinos in Nevada. The casino floor allows smoking. I am very spoiled... More

The last time I walked into MontBleu was when they first opened under the new name. Hated it. They were pumping some kind of perfume thru the filters which gave me one hell of a headache. Been a few years and there was a great deal on hotels.com that we couldn't pass up. So, fingers crossed we went. Mind you,... More

Like many of this site's readers, I too read the reviews of the resort and casino after booking a weekend stay, and quite frankly expected the experience to be worse than it actually ended up being. The hotel has many good qualities; however, it's difficult to overlook the condition of the rooms. It's clear that a great deal of money... More

I read some of the reviews written on here prior to booking our weekend stay. The fact that some of the reviews said that it needed updating didn't bother me because really how much time do you spend in your room? Well, the only good thing about this place is the cafe they had in the casino, friendly service, good... More

This is a review of the Spa only. Had the worst service ever. The entrance is at the hotel indoor pool so you are greeted with a very strong chlorine odor. The girl that checked us in had a scowl on her face and did not even look up at us when speaking to us, she never once smiled. Then... More
