South Lake Tahoe mid-range rooms are tricky. They all kind of look the same. Your standard rooms always are nice, but you never get the warm and fuzzy with them...I have mixed feelings about this property. First off, the lobby is very chic and they try and pull off the boutiqueish, poshy look. This is where they got me! They've... More

My parents had stayed here earlier this year and liked it, so I booked it and then was scared because of all of the negative reviews. ...Our room was great! It was clean, huge bathroom, great beds... The pool was really nice and my kids loved it. We didn't gamble, and didn't eat there, so I can't comment on those... More

I stayed at this hotel 20 years ago when it was Caesar's Palace. The hotel has never been updated and is in serious need of repair. When we checked in the desk clerk told us we couldn't have the room above the 7th floor because we booked with Hotwire. I would guess that more than 80 of the people book... More

This place needs a face lift! It used to be Ceasers and you can tell. The rooms were clean but the carpet is old and the the bathroom just looked worn out. No fridge in the room and no free wireless. The beds were comfortable and pillows were good. The casino was really small and lacked variety and also very... More

This was our second time staying at this hotel. It is not fancy, but it is clean with great rates. Great location! The staff was friendly, the beds were very comfortable, and the rooms are a decent size. The only negative in my opinion is the fact that the room does not have a refrigerator. Other than that we were... More

I have grown up going to Tahoe and have been 50-60 times in my life. I usually stay in a cabin when visiting but have also stayed at Harrahs, Horizon and Unfortunately this time, Mont Bleu. The only thing in their defense is that they comped me a room. At check in when the woman that was helping me told... More

We usually stay at Montbleu when in South Lake Tahoe because of its convenient location and affordable price in comparison to the other big resorts. The casino is nice, the restaurants are good and the service is always outstanding. Even though there were glitches because of an area-wide power outage due to a thunderstorm, the hotel tried to make up... More

Rooms are good size. We got an upgrade to a premium room. It had a jacuzzi in the room... By the bed :) Beddings are great. Pillows and duvets are so comfy. We got a non smoking room and there is no hint of smoke. But at the casino, definitely smoky but that's expected. The only downside in the room... More

Just returned from 2 nights at the Mont Bleu. The location of this hotel/casino is great, close to everything we needed. The casino itself is fine, restaurants are good. Also has a few gift shops, cigar shop and coffee shop that are all convenient. Where this hotel/casino needs some serious upgrades are their rooms. Rooms are showing lots of wear,... More

The other reviews were accurate. This place is dirty and dated. The Tribal casinos have taken a bite out of the casino vacation dollars in Reno/Tahoe. But, I would hope that if the owners/management can't afford a remodel at least do a heavy clean of the rooms and some basic maintenance. Asked for a quiet room. Got a room next... More
