We stayed at Montbleu with family. Pros - Close to Heavenly Cons - The carpet in a non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes. They will charge you for any small little thing that you ask for.. like hot water, plates and silver ware Advice to other travelers - Please check the other hotels in the neighborhood like Harrah's, Mariott or Hard... We stopped to check out the casino ... It's all kind of relative, so depends what to compare it to. On the Vegas scale it's small but Tahoe is not Vegas and it has only 4 towers, so seems to be pretty much in line with the other casinos in the area. There are some slots and tables, a few... More

Great hotel for the price we paid £207 for 2 nights at the weekend. Ten (ish) minute walk to the lake and 5 minute walk to the stateline, shops and bars so good position. The hotel Café del Sol restaurant was lovely...food great and prices too...Cobb chicken salad, Crab louie salad, a glass of wine and a pitcher of beer... More

I love the room upgrades/remodel except one thing...Please upgrade the mattresses. you can hear springs popping every time you move and I am not talking bow chica wow wow moves LOL!!!!!! At least the mattresses are clean though. I stayed in many and I feel comfortable and white glove approved.I... More

Anytime I visit Lake Tahoe, it is a must to visit MontBleu, because I feel so comfortable there. The machines In the gaming area are well spaced and there is plenty of ventilation. The attendants are extremely helpful and courteous. It just has a very light and fun atmosphere.

The room we stayed in was freshly remodeled and was quite large. The staff were friendly, even the wait staff at their Mexican restaurant were very attentive even though it was late at night. The indoor pool was quite nice and they have good hours. Being close to the other casino resorts is nice, you can walk to them and... More

I enjoyed my stay here every much. The room was cozy and clean. The bathroom was beautiful and big. The casino is very small, but nice. The bartender at the bar was very nice and I loved the $2 patron shots (even though it's a half shot, still a good price). They did have a bit of a mix up... More

I had read a lot of terrible reviews in the past about the MontBleu, but I decided to try it since I found a great deal on HotWire.com and I had heard the just spent $24MM remodeling the rooms. We were pleasantly surprised by the "new" MontBleu! New remodeled, nicely decorated, very large clean rooms! I would recommend everyone giving... More

Unfortunately the Montbleu left a horrible taste in my mouth within the first 5 minutes of arriving. Exhausted, having traveled all the way from New York, I was disappointed to find the Starbucks in the lobby was closed; however, I noticed "Alex" behind the concierge desk I thought might be of some help. I was mistaken. The exchange went as... More

This is a nice place to stay with free parking . Also got a room with a beautiful view . The casino is very small , but for families with little kids .. I think this is that one place where they allow kids to walk around as long as they don't touch anything , which normally doesn't happen .... More
