We weren't sure what to expect, but this property exceeded all expectations. My husband and I stayed here twice while driving to and from Northern California. We got "room with a view" both times, and we took full advantage of the easy access to the city park and marina right out the back door. It is a wonderful asset for... More

We were stopping on the way to California and just wanted a not expensive place to stay. Pulling into the parking lot, I was really wary of staying here. The buildings look really old and from past experiences that would usually mean really bad service. I was surprised! Starting at check in, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. The... More

A group of us in about 6 rooms, for a long weekend and family visit. Needed some rate and room changes, and even though the hotel was very booked, everything was taken care of by the front desk manager, Jessica. Rooms clean, great security, coffee shop has great pricing and very tasty. Look forward to our next visit. Important note,... More

Building from the outside looks like a truck stop. Inside a completely different experience. 1 buck craps. Beautiful tv with excellent scenic scapes from around the world to local beauty. First class bartenders and wait staff in all of the. Restaurants . Great food in the. Steak house. Parking can be a hassle. We just moved to area and love... More

The room was not in the main Casino area, but a stand alone building across the parking lot. Very close to all venues. Good parking; Easy access to second floor. Clean quiet room with lots of room. WiFi did not function well, but did work for one of two emails. Not recommended for long time use.NOTE: The price of the... More

One of the few places where some value still lives. It is nice to be appreciated and paid when you cash your paycheck as a local. It provides a real demonstration of caring and wanting your business and patronage. A long forgotten practice in many casinos who are out to gouge you financially any way possible. No ridiculously over priced... More

Wife found this gem, after RCI dropped the ball on our vacation plans....and I couldn't believe we got rooms for 35 bucks a nite.....was somewhat apprehensive about what we would find....and even though it's not a resort and seems more like a dormitory building....the rooms are clean....the daily service was spot on.....the non-smoker's portion of the building was fine....and parking... Unless you're a smoker, stay away. With the Casino's extremely low ceilings and poor ventilation system, it's impossible to avoid the smoke. This includes the hotel, even though the hotel room was designated as non-smoking, it was very difficult to breath since the room just stunk like it has been a smoking room since the beginning of time, including the... We appreciate you taking the time to write a review on Trip Advisor regarding your visit to Western Village. I am glad to hear that you had a great dining experience at Café Bellini however I want to sincerely apologize that the smoke odor was unpleasant for you. In the on-going effort to improve the air quality within the casino... More

I was very pleased with my first visit and overnight stay here. The location is great, including nearby marina/lake walk and best dog park I've visited. It's convenient to the freeway for travelers (like me), yet noise inside my room was not a factor (no noise). Three restaurants on the grounds offer choices for everyone (including vegan). The nextdoor gas... More

This motel has large beautiful rooms. The bed was very comfy, great A/C, clean, everything worked. Plenty of ice. I would highly recommend. Our check-in was quick and smooth. I am not a gambler, so I don't know about the casino.
