I made a reservation for my grand daughter and I, returning from a white water trip in Idaho. When making the reservation, I upgraded to a "premium" non-smoking room. Upon checking in, I was informed that the non-smoking rooms were taken and one was not available. The clerk at the registration desk informed me that non-smoking rooms were not guaranteed... More

We wanted to spend the weekend in Reno to celebrate my birthday and go to a gun show at the "Grand". We wanted an inexpensive room, but not a cheap hotel either. After searching on Tripadviser, we decided to stay at the Nugget. Now, we lived in Reno years ago, so we really didn't think that the Nugget was a... More

Well management should be ashamed! It took one hr standing in line to get checked in! Only 2 people working the desk and one being trained on a Friday after noon with a dog show in town. If you have allergies don't stay here! Got to are room in the east tower and it looked like poop stains on the... More

Stayed there 8/15/14. My room was very warm. I called for someone to come look at thermostat. Waited in my room two hours and nobody showed up. I could not wait to get out of there the next morning. I think this hotel's systems are very old and can't keep up. Even the casino area was not as cool as... More

With Indian Casinos everywhere, Nevada has taken a hit. Fewer people are taking the drive across the mountains into Reno and Las Vegas. . You cant re-create the fun you can have in Nevada at an Indian Casino in California. Its a pity, Reno is a great place but many of the hotels have closed. Those remain open have lowered... More

Probably won't be staying here again. We checked in on a Friday night. We were in the longest check in line I've ever seen. An hour and fifteen minutes to get through the line. Apparently this is a "normal" occurrence. We got our room which was on the 20th floor, decent view of the freeway. The room was a "premier"... More

From the half hour plus wait to check in to the half hour plus wait for valet to bring the car - this stay was a disappointment from start to finish. There was no service given at this hotel. Even the ice machine on our floor was out of order (with no explanation of where the next closest machine might... More

This place used to be great. Not so anymore. Not sure if it's the new ownership or the place is just outdated and breaking down. Don't let the cheap rates lure you here. It's not worth it. AC broken and the response to our complaints and request for help were way below expectations. I am here for another two nights... More
