Stayed for Sat & Sun night & room was recently remodeled (East tower) & had no problems. All the usual casino games EXCEPT POKER. Couldn't believe it as I was part of large group & many wanted to play but no game onsite. Reno is an interesting slice of America & this hotel is the heart of downtown with most... More

We're rated Total Rewards players and after our last several trips to Harrah's Lake Tahoe, where the tight slots tease and taunt us, with their lack of slot payouts, we decided to try Harrah's Reno for a change of pace and luck. Since we have offers for free rooms, food and even free slot play, we were eager to test... More

Seriously I dont understand the bad reviews! We stayed in the East tower and our room was completely remodelled, spotless, excellent size with the most comfortable beds! The price was ridiculously cheap! Would recommend this hotel to anyone! More

Harrah’s Reno is not a bad place to stay – if you have to go to Reno. Reno is a town that has seen better days and has a tired, down-at-heels sort of feeling, although the city powers seem to be struggling valiantly to infuse some life. This is NOT Las Vegas, and Harrah’s, like all the casinos in Reno,... More

My husband and I arrived on a Friday night to spend our 21st wedding anniversary. He had ordered champagne to be in our room when we arrived....NOT.. We pulled down the bed to find HAIR in it...The sheets were never changed from the people before. When we called housekeeping they changed them but it was already sickening. We brought it... More

We stayed at Harrah’s and although it was very clean, it did show it’s age. We only spent one night there and it was more than enough. It was a ghost town. Maybe it gets crowded on weekends, but on a Tuesday night it was dead. Can’t say it was unsafe, but I didn’t feel comfortable walking the deserted streets. More

One of the best features of Harrah’s is NO resort fee! The price quoted plus tax was the room charge with NO extra hotel fees. Check in was quick with a friendly clerk who had both rooms (ours and our traveling companions adjoining). We stayed in the west tower in a room that was spotless, quiet and convenient with an... We went to Reno last week (May 6th-8th) and stayed at Harrah's. All the employees there treated us great. Like everything else in Reno, Harrah's seemed like it was 50 years behind everyone else.(Reno also has lots of panhandlers, which was annoying/sad) The whole city just seemed very depressing. You can tell it used to be "the place to be"... More

If you like a firm bed, stay at Harrah's east wing. Harrah's likes to put you in the west wing because when you come down you are in the mail casino. We have stayed at both wings and the east has more room and we think better beds. Though not crazy about firm beds it was liveable because the choice... More

Good location for getting to the National Bowling tournament. No free WiFi - cost $10.95 for 24 Hours. Staff very friendly. Do not go to the Hash House A Go-Go Restaurant. The food was very dry, no flavor and very expensive for what you got. The manager said she was sorry and walked away. This restaurant is not run by... More
