Comfortable and clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Copa ribs excellent. Bingo games fun except the caller was too fast for beginners. Had a wonderful time with my mom. Had a wonderful view from our room on the 14th floor.

Our stay was just an ok experience. Had a cheap third party 2 night stay here so really can't complain but here's is what we observed: It was our first time in Reno so found out this is like old downtown Vegas. Nothing flashy, casinos/hotels are just buildings. The Sands Regency is located just 2 blocks from the main street... More

This hotel is dated but in reasonable condition. Rooms are adequate but don't even provide coffee making facilities. Reception is in the casino - dark and reeking of cigarette smoke. Seemed strange to have to pull our suitcases through the casino to the lift well. The buffet meals are poor value compared to the other hotels. Plenty of parking but... More

Called to book a room and was offered an upgrade to a "deluxe room" for $10 more. Room had new furniture. new carpet. new lights, a flat screen TV. It was totally worth it, It was like a different hotel. Tacos Tijuana restaurant had delicious food for cheap prices, Will definitely stay again and again,

The rooms are adequate and far less expensive than other casinos in the area. Since we only sleep in the rooms and watch a little tv they are everything we need while there. Good beds, tv, shower and lighting, plus views from most of the rooms.

We took a family of 5 on a family weekend to see our son graduate from UNR. We were located next to all the big casinos, banks, gas stations, and the freeway, I-80! The staff is super friendly, the rooms are big and the bathroom is a great size, there is a huge dresser and table area. There is a... More

People coming to Reno to enjoy a nice family atmosphere just keep on driving past the Sands. The Legacy, Circus Circus and Grand Sierra are an exit or 2 away. This place is for the adults. If you like to hang out and have a few cocktails with your friends, you can't beat their prices anywhere in Reno. If you... More

I stayed here in August of 2014, on my way through from the east coast. The room was unbelievably inexpensive, and the quality didn't match the price. The beds were large, comfortable, and the linens were very nice. The room itself was very long (we were in the older tower, looking out over the city instead of the mountains), lots... More
