Sands is a good hotel for the price. The carpets are a little worn with stains but they seemed clean. We were in a suite on the 12th floor and our beds and linens were good, but I heard comments that not all floors have the same beds. The casino is a good size and join the players club and... more

A 5 night stay cost me $3,000.00+ due to vehicle damage. Myself and 2 hotel employees saw a guest throw beer and whiskey bottles out of a 9th story window causing body damage and a shattered windshield on my truck. The hotel stated it was not thier problem, nor resposibility to assist me in finding out the guest to hold... more

Airport: Easy to navigate airport, with comfy adirondack-style rocking chairs in waiting areas; lots of benches in area where free shuttles arrive to most hotels. ++++ Hotel: Sands Regency: I stayed in the tower that had the fitness center on the 17th floor - nice! All aerobic machines faced out full-length windows with mountain views; large jacuzzi also had mountain... more

I attended a conference at The Silver Legacy, but they were booked up, so went to Sands Regency. The people were friendly, and there were nice things like 1)The AC worked 2) They had great water pressure in the showers, etc. However, the hotel is very dated and needs a major overhaul to appeal to anyone who stays in any... more

My sister actually recommended this hotel to me, because she got a great deal. We all got there and we were so excited to gamble and have fun. I did not feel safe at this hotel and there was an incident I had with one of the staff in the casino where she was being extremely rude to me, so... more

Have been a member of their club for about 5 years and love the laid-back non-Vegas atmosphere of the Sands Regency, Reno. Real friendly staff. Dyn-O-mite rooms, clean, comfortable, great views, great air cool/warm system. Pet friendly staff. more

My teenage son and I stayed over the labor day weekend. we were in town for a bicycle moto-cross race at the livestock event center. Check-in was easy at 1:30 p.m. on friday, all but one of the stations were open, I felt they were prepared. everyone at the desk was friendly. Checked back at 11:30 p.m. and there were... more

i usually stay here once a year and book it on various third party websites to receive deeply discounted room rates, usually around $25-30 a night. the rooms are very large and views from the upper fl;oors are very good. at that rate, i have no complaints about the hotel. parking and location are good. more

I was heading back to Vegas from California, but stopped at Reno to visit my girlfriend's mom. We booked this hotel online. It was one of the cheaper ones out there and a decent value if you like sleeping on a bed that feels like concrete floor, poor customer service, and limited table games. This place has an older look... more

This was my 4th trip to Reno and first time staying at Regency. I was hesitate to book our rooms here because of the bad reviews on trip advisor but could not find anything else in the price range. I was pleasantly surprised. Front desk employees were great. Very helpful and friendly. Rooms were a good size. Pool was nice.... more
