I needed an inexpensive room in order to catch a flight at 5:45 am. I forgot where this was located or would not have booked it, even for the cheap price. I was concerned about safety and parking and would not park in the garage (few others did either) because I did not feel safe coming out there at 4... More

You would find these sticky, old, dirty, gross motel rooms along some remote highway, but inside the "Sands Regency" ? I paid double of what it costs in Las Vegas, and got the crappiest room. 1526 next to the loud humming, but iceless ice machine on the 15th. Floor. No Ice on several floors for at least 2 days. This... More

The hotel has a number of elevator access and there is a casino on the ground floor. It is a little confusing when you just arrived and needed to find your way to the room. The elevator was small and packed whenever there is a group arrives and in the morning. The facility and services was very average. We just... More

First of all, let me start out by saying that I got this hotel on Hotwire. Sounded promising so I tried it out. The hotel looks very dated and appears to not have been renovated in a very long time. The casino smells like a mix of cigarette smoke and air freshener, but I'd expect that out of a casino.... More

Great hotel to stay at for special events in or near downtown Reno. No other hotel will offer you a better price. Cheap drinks and Mel's is a perfect spot for pre and post hangover meals. Highly recommend if you are doing any of the many bar crawls in the area.

It started with the condition of the room, it was just plain gross! Stains and burn holes all over the floor, things were just old and needed to updated. We had maintenance up to our room and housekeeping twice because the toiler over flowed and then wouldnt flush!!!! Gross!! We decided to try the gambling too, tight machines, nooo good,... More

Start with the good........prices,location,and the rooms. When you first arrive, you think, oh boy should of spent the extra money and gone to El Dorado or Silver Legacy which is less than 2 blocks away. Casino area is very old looking, smelling, and just outdated. But after a smooth check-in, you drop your bags at your room, things look up... More

I choose this hotel based on their weekday rates on the way over from Oregon to Los Angeles. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking made it easy to get to the room and back. Close walking distance to downtown, so that was a plus. Internet was slow during certain times of the day and night, but it was fast enough... More

We stay here almost yearly because we get a great rate. The rooms could use some updating, especially the carpet. The rooms are good size with standard offerings, though the beds are comfy and the pillows aren't to bad. The windows are a little drafty, but all in all, not to bad of a hotel. It is one of those... We would stay here again as there were some things we really liked. One of them was the (king) bed sheets, which were not only clean, but appeared to be new. Although the place (not including the room) seemed old and could use an overhaul in our estimation, the room was large and the bed was comfortable. I would have... More
