Reno's worst bar and bartender=3rd Street Bar, Sands Regency and Lolita=Horrible service ruined my weekend. AVOID! The bartender, Lolita was exceptionally rude Saturday Night when Reno had its Zombie Crawl. She ignored me even though I tipped for the first and last drink which cost $2 a dollar both me and several people at one end of the bar where... More

The Hotel is clean and well managed, the Casino is a fun and safe place to play. The places to eat are above average and reasonably priced. My wife and I enjoyed Our 4 day stay, you will too. We will surely come again.

My stay was as per usual okay, I was not impressed with some of the front desk personal ,upon check in my room was not ready so I asked for one that was along the same lines as per my request,of course nothing available, was told to come back after 3pm,even as I explained that I had been travelling to get... Room in tower (Dynasty) was clean, roomy with great view of bikes. Second year at same hotel, going for a yearly tradition. Good coffee shop. Spa tub huge but clear across casino and in another tower.

Got stuck staying at the Sands while playing in a softball tournament in Reno. The hotel is located in downtown Reno but in a very sketchy neighborhood (is there such thing as a nice area in downtown Reno?). The hotel is very very old and run down. The casino area is small and dingy. The room décor is outdated and... More

I got a room for $40 a night. They made me pay $5 on check in for some taxes. But that was fine. The room was spacious on the higher floor. Rooms need to be sound proofed better. They did not had a breakfast in offer. You need to go to Mels diner and pay your breakfast (Or a Caffe... More

Second and last visit here at the Sands. Came last year and reviewed the Sands, now saying this is it for me. Obviously the place is old and in need of upgrades. I think the management knows this and has accepted the fact that they're not going to invest $$$ to upgrade, just maintain. I didn't notice any new games...sportsbook... More

My wife and I stayed one night at the Sands on our way to California. We liked that fact that it was dirt cheap but that's what we got dirt. Room was filthy but the worst part was the bedbugs. We were both covered in little bites when we woke up in the morning. A fellow guest was bitten so... More

Great price but u get what you pay for! The room was not clean; dusty and dirty (hairs in sink and on toilet) bathroom. When I woke up from my too soft bed the mattress I noticed was stained and dirty ugh! 2 stars for convenience/ location.

Well to start off I would like to say that as far as the Sands goes I wish I could move them to Vegas or Laughlin, helpful staff and you could actually win at the casino, well enough to keep you going, We were satisfied with the room, ageing badly but clean....20 years ago we left Reno for Vegas and Laughlin as...
